Positive response to ‘Respect National Flag’ campaign at various places in Maharashtra

‘Maintain honour of national flag’ drive by HJS !

Mumbai : Hindu Jaajagruti Samiti (HJS) submitted representations under its ‘Maintain honour of national flag’ drive to different government administrative offices, police stations, education department etc in Maharashtra. Many people appreciated this HJS drive and many responded positively to this drive. Report on this drive is given here.

Kolhapur

1. Representation was submitted with police station, Tehasildar, ‘Gatashikshan’ officer at Ajara. Tehasildar Bhutal Deshmukh acknowledged HJS activities even during a meeting he was attending when HJS activists went there to submit representation.

2. Representation was submitted to Nayab Tehasildar Shri. Vijay Jamadar at Shahu wadi; so also at local police station. Shri. Charudatta Potdar, Shri. Ramesh Padval, Dr. Sanjay Jadhav, Shri. Anand Patil etc were present on the occasion.

3. Representations were submitted to 7 schools in Rajarampuri which enabled 1230 students to get the information. School Principals thanked HJS and extended invitation to come again for holding similar drives.

Pune

Shri. Balasaheb Shirsat, ‘Nayab Tehasildar’ at Bhor and Shri. Sunil Pawar, police constable of Bhor police station were given representations. Readers of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ were present on the occasion. Representation was also given to 6 schools from Akurdi. Lectures were held on the subject at 2 schools which were attended by more than 1350 students.

Representation was submitted to Dy. Police Commissioner at Pimpri-Chinchwad. Mayor Shri. Rahul Jadhav was given similar representation when he promised that the representation would be sent to all municipal schools of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and take due care for prevention of abuse of national flags.

Nagar

Smt. M. S. Andhale, Nayab Tehasildar and Dy. Secretary was given representation at Nagar. She said, “This HJS drive is good which is creating awareness amongst people. We will also try from our side. We have given a circular on behalf of police administration.” Few devout Hindus were present on the occasion.

Ambajogai (Dist. Beed)

Representations were submitted to Dy. District Collector’s office at Ambajogai, office of ‘Gata-education office’, city police station, Venutai Kanya Vidyalaya, Shri Kholeshwar Vidyalaya Primary Section-2 and secondary section. Devout Hindus viz. Shri. Balaji Bharajkar, Shri. Om Kale, Shri. Sandesh Kale, Shri. Subhash Mahindrakar, Shri. Ashok Munde were present on the occasion. Teachers gathered 700 girl-students for listening to HJS lady activists’ lecture and lauded HJS activities.

Satara

Representations were submitted at Vaduj and Vai along with Principal Arjun Kharat of Chhatrapati Shivaji College at Vaduj (Satara).

Raigad

Representations were submitted to police, government administrations and college in Raigad district. Patriotic citizens Shri. Vilas Pundale, Shri. Rohidas Shedage, Shri. Prabhakar Vitthal Pundit and Sou. Pratibha Chauhan were present on the occasion.

Mumbai

Representation demanding -1. prevention of abuse of national flags happening on 26th Janaury; 2. glorification of western culture through celebration of Valentine Day and 3. Ram-Mandir should be constructed at Ayodhya considering sentiments of millions of Hindus, was submitted by HJS activists and patriotic citizens, to District Collector, Tehasildar, police station and college.

Representations were submitted so far to District Collector Sachin Kurve at Bandra; Dr. Sandip Thorat, Tehasildar-Mulund, Police Inspector P.S Kakade of Bandra police station and Principal M.P. Joshi of Chetana College.

Devout Hindus viz. Sou. Mathura Davade, Shri. Vinod Shinde, Shri. Ashok Ghadage, Shri. Keshav Gotad, Sanatan Prabhat’s reader Shri. Chadrakant Vaity and Sou. Neeta Chavan and Shri. Ramesh Ghatkar were present on the occasion.

District Collector, Shri. Sachin Kurve said that necessary action has been initiated for prevention of abuse of national flags. Principal Shri. M. P. Joshi of Chetana College said that HJS activities were good and he offered to help to set up exhibition of flex-boards on life-history of revolutionaries which would awaken patriotism amongst students.

Airoli (Navi Mumbai)

Representations were submitted to Principals of 4 schools. They lauded HJS drive and promised to create awareness amongst students towards this issue. It was promised by Saraswati School to invite HJS if the school undertook similar drive in future.
