Advocates attending meeting and with them are 1. Shri. Anand Jakhotia and 2. Shri. Ramesh Shinde

Jodhpur (Rajasthan) : A meeting was recently held at Bar Association, Jodhpur under ‘Hindu Rashtra Sampark Abhiyan’ of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). Shri. Ramesh Shinde, national spokesperson of HJS and Shri. Anand Jakhotia, its State Coordinator for Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh addressed this meeting.

Shri. Ramesh Shinde explained discriminatory treatment given to Hindus by the Government and government’s taking over management of temples. He said, “Money offered by Hindus at temples is misused because of government’s taking over control of temples. On the other hand, all laws are meant only for Hindus and facilities are extended to all non-Hindus which is discrimination and injustice to Hindus. In the prevailing conditions, therefore, advocates should create awareness amongst people towards various laws and right to information.”

All participating advocates showed interest in the subject and discussions were held on systematic action required to be taken in this context. The meeting was attended by 25 advocates; including additional Advocate General K L Thakur. Advocate Motisingh Purohit took initiative in organizing this meeting.
