Varanasi : It is a common practice in Pakistan to convert Hindus forcibly; to attack Hindus brutally; to kidnap Hindu girls and marry them; to rape Hindu girls; to grab Hindus’ lands and to damage Hindu temples and desecrate idols in those temples. Hindus’ life has thus become absolutely insecure in Pakistan. In such situation, Hindus are coming to India as refugees, in large numbers; but Indian administrative machinery has been driving them back. Few days back, a group of refugees had to go back to Pakistan as they were not given VISA on long term. 500 among those Hindus have since been converted in Sindh Province of Pakistan. In this background, Indian Government should provide basic amenities to Hindu refugees coming from Pakistan and they shouldn’t be sent back there in any case. These Hindus should be given citizenship of India. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) staged demonstrations under aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan (RHA)’ at Shastri-ghat on 18th April 2018 for the above demands. The other demand was that the Government should not set up separate counters in banks for minorities and discriminate on the basis of religion. Shri. Ravi Shrivastav, Convener of ‘Hindu Jagaran Manch’, advocate Kamaleshchandra Tripathi, national President of ‘India with Wisdom’ along with its Vice President viz. advocate Avinash Rai; Shri. Vishwanath of ‘Suryakunda Kamal’; Shri. Shubham Shukla, regional ‘Mahamantri’ of ‘Hindu Yuva Shakti’, Shri. Sachin Dubey and Shri. Rajan Kesari of HJS etc participated in the demonstrations.
