Ponkunnam (Kerala): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti began its activities on a large scale in Ponkunnam through Dharmajagruti Sabha organised at Vyapar Bhavan Hall on 19th Dec. The speaker of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, representatives of Sanatan Sanstha and Sanatan Prabhat lit the traditional lamp and marked an auspicious beginning to the Sabha. The chanting of Vedamantras made the atmosphere in the hall very sattvik.

Today the sate of Hindu Dharma and Nation has become very pathetic. Dharma and Nation is attacked from all four sides. Denigration of Deities, governmentalisation of temples, blind imitation of western culture, etc. are few of the numerous attacks taking place on Dharma. The Nation is facing numerous problems due to terrorism, naxalism, corruption, inflation, etc. The main reason behind these attacks is the lack of pride for the Nation and Dharma in Hindus. Education on Dharma (Dharmapathanam) and following Dharma (Dharmacharanam) is the only solution to the above problems. To inculcate pride for Dharma in Hindus, education on Dharma is inevitable’, as stated by Mr. Nandakumar Kaimal. He urged Hindus to take part in protest campaigns and actively participate in spreading Dharma through its website www.hindujagruti.org and Dharmajagruti Sabhas organised all over Bharat.

Today, in ‘secular Bharat’, actively participating in doing something for Hindu Dharma is considered a big crime. Sanatan Sanstha has been facing this situation since the past one year. In order to face these attacks boldly, it is essential to gain the grace of God and Guru and sadhana is the only means to attain this’. This was stated by Kumari. Rashmi Parameshwaran, who representated Sanatan Sanstha on the occasion. ‘Chanting God’s Name, taking part in Satsang, spreading spirituality in the society etc. are the various aspects of sadhana that we have to do today. Sanatan Sanstha conducts various activities all over Bharat to spread spirituality.

Ms. Praneeta Prasad explained the worldwide activities of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, about the various campaigns conducted by it and the success it has acheived in it.

Various flex posters imparting knowledge on the science behind various rituals in Hindu Dharma were displayed. Many devout Hindus who attended the program, benefited out of it.
