A Congregation of Hindu Community leaders held at Trichy

Hindu Eluchi Peravai (Hindu Jagruti Organisation) arranged for a Hindu Society Sangamam for the first time in Trichy at Hotel Breeze on 9 April 2018 from 10.30 am. The main aim of organising this meet is to bring together various Hindu Community leaders and Hindu organisations to develop unity and fraternity amongst them.

After lighting the traditional lamp the Presidential address was delivered by Sri Sri Sri Shendalangara Jeer Swamigal. Swamigal is an ardent Hindu leader with a fighting spirit. He gave an arousing speech regarding the various atrocities and denigrations on Hindu Dharma and told that the only solution is to fight back. Sadhvi Dr. Prachi Arya Didi and Sadhvi Sarala Didi honoured the program with their holy presence and speech. Shri. Chandra Prakash Koushikji and Veeresh Kumar Thiyagiji participated on behalf of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha. On behalf of HJS Shri. Ramesh Shinde and Pujya (Sou) Uma Ravichandran participated.

Shri. Ramesh Shinde in his speech explained the difference between Dharma and religion, the partisan attitude of the so-called Secular Government in granting subsidies generously to Haj pilgrims and on the other hand collecting tax on Kumbhmela, the menace of Rohingya threat and its effect on Kashmir, the state of Tamilnadu where a spate of murders of Hindu leaders has happened. As per teachings of Shri Bhagvadgita, Where there is Dharma victory is sure to happen he told in the end.

About 7 Hindu organisations including Akhil Bharata Hindu Mahasabha (leaders from Delhi, Tamilnadu and Kerala), Shivsena Tamilnadu, Vivekananda Seva Samiti, Rudra Sena participated in the program.

About 16 Tamilnadu Hindu Community Organisations like Bharathiya Forward Bloc, Tamilnadu Mutharayar Sangam, Tamilaga Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam, Thotiya Nayakar Peravai, Kongunadu Ilaignar Peravai, TN Kurumbar Peravai, TN Kurmbur Ilaignar Sangam, International Sambavar Society, Padmasaliyar Sangam, Vellalar Munnetra Sangam, TN Anaithu Pillaimar Mahasabai, TN Reddy Nala Sangam, South India Mutharayar Sangam, Sengutha Mudaliar Sangam, All India Nadar Manual Peravai and TN Nadar Sangam participated in the program. In Tamilnadu’s history, this is the first time so many Hindu community leaders have congregated and interacted.

Around 260 Hindus were present in the program. The program was compered and vote of thanks was given by Shri. Pala Santhosh Kumar of Hindu Elaignar Eluchi Peravai.

Shri. Raghuramji, RSS ideologist, Shri. Umapathyji, RSS and Shri. Pala Santhosh Kumar, President of Hindu Ilaignar Eluchi Peravai took the initiative and co-ordinated with all the participants to make this program a grand success. Shri. B. T. Arasakumar, State Vice-President, BJP took overall responsibility of booking hall and arranging for food etc.

Highlights

  • Shri. Santhosh Kumar had the intense desire to plan this program in a similar way as Hindu Adhiveshan in Goa.
  • Some Hindu leaders who work only for their community, not only came together for this program but also proclaimed their fraternity and readiness to work with each other.
  • Some of participants were very impressed with the points told by Shri.Ramesh Shinde. They expressed that there was absolute clarity and content in his speech.
