Rourkela : Hindu New Year has natural, historical and spiritual significance. Instead of thinking of only human beings or Dharma, Hindu culture thinks of the whole universe; hence, Hindu New Year is not the New Year for Hindus alone; but it is the New Year of the whole universe, stated Shri. Prakash Malondkar while addressing the gathering assembled in the seminar organised in Vedvyas Samskruti Suraksha here. In this seminar, Shri. Taliya Krushna Bag of RSS’s Goraksha Chief; Shri. Dhaneshwar Behera, manager of Arya Samaj Gurukul; Shri. Dnyaneshwar Mishara, Editor, Shri. Maoranjan Das, journalist; Shri. Pathisharma; Dr. Umakant Panda, Principal of Sanskrut College; Shri. Narayan Pati, retd. officer from Steel Industry and other dignitaries spoke on this occasion. Students, teachers of Sanskrut College and citizens were present in this programme.

Shri. Malondkar said, “If we study Indian history and culture then only we can have pride for the same. Therefore every Indian need to study the History of the nation. The sacrifice of Dharmaveer Samabhaji Maharaj inspires and motivates every Hindu. At the age of 14 he had written 3 Sanskrut Texts, he had never lost any battle among 140 battles he fought, till he lived and even after his death, he did not allow Auranhzeb to leave Deccan for 25 years and he had tremendous love for Dharma; such valorous Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj is the inspiration for every Hindu.”
