Hindu culture can be nurtured with ‘Dharmacharan’ – feel speakers from ‘Hindu Sangam’

Navi Mumbai (Maharashtra) : The ‘Vedas’, ‘Upnishadas’, festivals and observances followed in Hindu Dharma are eternal. If everybody follows these things, Hindu culture will be nurtured properly. The above views were expressed by speakers attending the ‘Hindu-sangam Dharmasabha’ held at Swami Vivekanandanagar (CBD). ‘Satyananda Dharma International Charitable Society’ has organized ‘Navachandi Mahayadnya’ between 6th and 15th December. ‘Dharma-sabha’ was held under the above program on Sunday.

Swami Brahmapadananda Saraswati explained the significance of performing a ‘yadnya’ and expressed his wish to perform such ‘yadnyas’ all over India for world peace. Swami Devatmananda Saraswati from Chinmaya Mission spoke about Hindu culture and it was everyone’s duty to follow ‘Dharmacharan’. Mr. Sagar Naik, Mayor of Navi Mumbai said, “Every act should be done as prescribed by Dharma. There is need for such ‘yadnyas’ for world peace.” The guardian-minister Ganesh Naik said, “Power, money etc. are all perishable things; but the power of righteousness is never destroyed.

Mr. Raju Bhogale of Sanatan Sanstha talked about importance of spiritual practice, what is the most proper spiritual practice in ‘Kali Yuga’ etc. Mr. Shivaji Vatkar of HJS said, “As there is no ‘Dharmashikshan’, no ‘Dharmacharan’ is followed; therefore, Hindus have no respect and love towards their Dharma. Since Hindus are not united, the rulers do not pay any heed to them; moreover, they are passing anti-Hindu Acts. The Government wants to attack customs and traditions followed by Hindus; therefore, it wants to pass Acts like ‘Taking over management of temples’, ‘Anti-superstitions’ Act etc. It is the duty of every Hindu to foil such efforts.” Dr. Uday Dhuri of HJS also talked about various attacks on Dharma and made an appeal to give a lawful fight against the injustice.
