Thane: Hindutva brighten in the Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha

Thane (Maharashtra): This secular Government has systematically tried to suppress many organizations engaged in keeping the fire of Hinduism kindling; but the ploy of the Government got thwarted only because of the blessings of Saints, holy scriptures like ‘Ramayana’ and ‘Mahabharata’ and literature by Saints. People came to India from Western countries to convert Hindus; but those, who come for converting, get converted. This is the history of Hindu Dharma; therefore, nobody should dare to convert Hindus, stated Mr. Eknath Maharaj Sadgir, the chief of VHP’s Konkan Zone Guiding Committee.

Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha was held in Thane (East) by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at ‘Bharatiya Stree-jeevan Vikas Parishad’ Hall when H. B. P. Eknath Maharaj Sadgir expressed the above views. The ‘sabha’ started with recitation of ‘Veda-mantras’ and lighting of lamp by Maharaj. Mri. Sandip Naik compeered the ‘sabha’ that was concluded with singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ by Mrs. Savita Lele. The ‘sabha’ was attended by more than 250 devout Hindus.

Mr. Prasad Vadake of HJS said, “Hindus are tolerant which does not mean that they are coward. Despite the 1200 years Mughal regime and 150 years of British Rule, they have not been able to eliminate Hindu Dharma and our culture. The spark of Hinduism in the heart of every Hindu will definitely become a burning torch one day.”

“We say that India is a democratic country; but time and again, Hindus have had to bear the brunt of the oppression by this secular Government. It has been the policy of the Government to suppress Hindus wherever possible. In such situation, those, who want to work for Hinduism, should increase inner strength. Spiritual practice and ‘Dharmacharan’ are the needs of the hour to fight for protection of ‘Hinduttva’,” said Mrs. Alpana Joshi of Sanatan Sanstha.
