St. Joseph Mercy Home is situated in a sprawling area of about 17 acres. In that they have corpse keeping vaults in about half an acre. The in-charge Father Thomas has bribed all the officials to commit all the atrocities of torturing the aged and homeless elders, stealing body organs and bones to export to foreign countries. This has come to light when their van in which a corpse along with vegetables and two old people was caught by police on hearing the cry for help from the old woman. No media has given ‘breaking news’ coverage so far.
A strong protest to condemn this dastardly act and to pressurise the Government to severely punish the culprits was organised on 1st March 2018 at Kanchipuram by Bharath Hindu Munnani under the leadership of Shri. R. D. Prabhu in which leaders of other Hindu organisations like Shriram Yuva Sene and Then Bharatha Hindu Mahasabha also participated.
