Hindus orphaned with the demise of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Shri Jayendra Sarswati ! – Sadguru Dr Charudutt Pingle, National Guide, HJS

The head of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, Shri Jayendra Saraswati passed away this morning. With the demise of Shri Jayendra Saraswati, Hindus have been permanently deprived of His perennial love and blessings. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s National Guide and Sadguru, Dr Charudatt Pingle paid tribute on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti by expressing gratitude unto Shri Jayendra Saraswati for His contribution to the Hindu society.

Shankaracharya travelled across the length and breadth of the country for the upliftment of the Hindu society. He toiled endlessly to propagate and work towards recitation of Vedas, cow protection, donation of food, and old-age homes. With his regular counselling with regards to righteousness, He continually guided the Hindu society. Thus the Hindu society is indebted to Him and it is plain impossible to repay these favours. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Shri Jayendra Saraswati had immense love towards Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and its works. In 2003, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti had organised Hindu Dharmjagruti Sabha (Hindu Awareness Public Meet) on the occasion of completion of 50 years of the ascension of the Acharya to the Peetham, for which Shri Shankaracharya was present. Be it protests against Anti-Superstition and Black Magic Act, or nationalisation of temples, Shri Shankaracharya constantly supported such initiatives of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. Every year he used to convey His blessings through a message for the annual ‘All India National Hindu Convention’, organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti for the establishment of Hindu Rashtra. At the same time, Shri Shankaracharya was instrumental in the airing of the series, ‘Dharmik Krutyonka Shastra’, on one of the most popular TV channels of the South, ‘Shri Shankara’. ‘Dharmik Krutyonka Shastra’, is a series presented by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, aimed at imparting religious knowledge to Hindus across the world. Thus, establishing Hindu Rashtra by imparting religious education to the Hindu society, will be a fitting tribute to Shri Shankaracharya and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti will forever be committed to this cause.
