Pedne : After the complaints filed with the Deputy Collector by devout Hindus here, the denigration of Hindus’ Deities in the carnival celebrated by foreigners in Harmal, Pedne has stopped. (This is very commendable step taken by devout Hindus from Pedne. These Hindus are the real strength of Hindu Dharma. Hindus in other places should take inspiration from this act. O Hindus, pay gratitude to Bhagvan Shrikrushna for this success ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Foreigners are celebrating carnival in Harmal, Pedne since last 3 years. During this celebration, foreigners used to participate by using masks of Hindu Deities like Shri Ganesh, Shri Durgadevi etc. and by wearing their costumes also. (Due to Hindus’ inactive attitude anyone dares to ridicule our Deities. People of other faiths are very alert and therefore no one even dares to hurt their religious sentiments. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Carnival festival was to be held at Harmal, Pedne on 8th February at 3 p.m. Devout Hindus from Pedne came to know about this celebration and they met the Deputy Collector immediately. They gave a representation to him demanding no denigration of Hindu Deities should happen there and demanded action against those denigrating Deities. Deputy Collector took the matter very seriously and expressed his displeasure at the denigration that was done by foreigners. Thereafter carnival was held at Harmal by foreigners but there was no denigration of Deities.
