Expanding mission of HJS of spreading Dharma in Kerala

1. Prasar on the occasion of Dattajayanti

People in Kerala do not know about the Shri Dattatrey. There are not many Dattatrey temples also. People here are suffering spiritual distress due to ancestoral problems. This year on the occasion of Dattajayanti, curious were told the importance of Dattajayanti and chanting Shri Datta’s Name through social media like WhatsApp, and Facebook, displaying boards with the information. Seekers requested curious to chant Datta’s Chant collectively and they were asked to chant the same chant at home on Dattajayanti.

1 A. Curious and followers abiding by Dharma

1 A 1. Despite having backache circumambulating 108 times : Adv. Triveni suffers from backache. Seekers advised her to chant Datta’s chant. Video in Malyalam language was sent to her on WhatsApp. She prayed to Shri Dattatrey by going to the temple – ‘O God I am not so capable to circumambulate like this; but I can do it only if you give me strength for the same.’ Although she is suffering from backache, she completed 108 circumabulations that day.

1 A 2. Sou. Devi chanted 20 Japamalas (Rosaries) of Datta chant on Dattajayanti. Now she chants every day.

1 A 3. Sou. Prema making devotees studying Bhagvat, chant Datta’s name : Sou. Prema studies Bhagvat. 10-12 people come there when she does her study. Sou. Prema told them about Datta and His chant on Dattajayanti and she asked them to chant for 5 minutes.

2. Talk being organised

A spiritual talk was held on 9 December in Mattalil Bhagavati temple at Kadavantra in Dist. Ernakulam. Every month people gather in that temple on a particular day. Kum. Aditi Sukhtankar informed them about abiding by Dharma, how to do namaskar and its benefits, importance of putting kumkum by ladies, reason for not celebrating the New Year on 1st January. 25 were present in the temple that day.
