Lecture giving guidance on Dharmacharan held at Mattalil Temple in Kerala

On 9th December, a small lecture was held at Mattalil Devi Temple in Kadavanthra in Ernakulam. In this temple, every month on a particular day, many devotees gather and offer a special pooja and ‘annadanam’ later. On this occasion, Kum. Aditi Sukhtankar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti spoke on few topics of Dharmacharan (Abiding by Dharma).

The ideal way to do namaskar (pay obeissance) to deity and its importance, the importance of applying kumkum by women was explained. In addition, awareness was created on the ill effects of celebrating January 1st as New Year by Hindus and the ideal New Year to be celebrated. The reasons behind it were also explained.

Around 25 people attended the lecture.
