One day workshop for Hindutvawadi on spiritual practice held at Chennai

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti had organized one day workshop for Hindutvawadis at Chennai on Sunday, December 10, 2017. The workshop was conducted at The Ambedkar Hall, Anna Nagar East in Chennai from morning 10 am to evening 5pm on Spiritual practice and Establishment of Hindu Rashtra. 32 Hindutvawadis from organizations like Shiv Sena, Bharat Hindu Munnani, Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha, South India Hindu Mahasabha, Sriram Yuva Sena, Hindu Mahasabha Trust, All India Temple Worshippers Society, Hindu Elainaar Yeluchhi Peravai participated in the workshop. Shri. G Radhakrishnan, Tamilnadu State president of Shiv Sena played a pivotal role in bringing the Hindutvawadis together.

The workshop had 4 sessions of 1.30 hours each starting from session on Sadhana (Spiritual Practice) followed by a session on Establishment of Hindu Rashtra. After lunch session on Removal of Swabhavdosh (Personality defects) and Ego was conducted with an group discussion focusing on individual participants.

Pujya Sou. Uma Ravichandran, Tamilnadu State co-ordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti started the workshop by outlining the aim of the workshop and also the vision of Paratpar Guru (Dr) Jayant Balaji Athavale. Sou. Kalpana Balaje and Shri. Prabhakaran spoke on Importance of Spiritual Practice and Importance of Chanting respectively. Shri. Jaikumar conducted a subtle experiment and Sou. Sudha Gopalakrishnan spoke on importance of Prarthana (Offering prayers).

Later post lunch Sou. Suganthi Jaikumar spoke on importance of Removal of Personality defects and Ego. A video on activities of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti was also shown. Shri. Radhakrishnanji spoke on Necessity of Hindu Unity. Shri. Vinayak Shanbhag did the anchoring of the programme. At the end of workshop everybody expressed their views about the session and also gave the written feedback instantly.

Special Features of the Workshop

  • Manikantan who is a hindutvawadi and also a photographer by profession voluntarily did photography seva and actively participated in the workshop.
  • All the participants informed that next time they wish to have 2 days shibir (workshop).
  • Some of the participants told that they wish to have a district level or ward level shibir (workshop) in near future.
  • After they were told the importance of Spiritual healing using Attar (perfume) and Karpur (Camphor), some participants came near HJS volunteers and asked for Kapur voluntarily.
  • Shri. R.D.Prabhu, president of Bharat Hindu Munnani told that, today we felt that Lord Krushna is our Guru and we have to become a good karyakarta (activists) under His Guidance. If we become good karyakarta then we can prepare more such karyakartas.
  • All the Hindutvawadis actively participated in the group discussion session on Removal of Personality defects & Ego.
