Those, who are concerned and sympathetic towards Afzal Khan, should leave the country ! – Vikram Gokhale, senior actor

Pune – No action has so far been taken on tomb located at foothills of Pratapgad. We should take the present Government to task for the same. Those, who feel concerned and have sympathy towards Afzal Khan, should leave this country, was the frank opinion expressed by Shri. Vikram Gokhale, a senior actor. He also asked the audience as to whom did they support, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj or Afzal Khan?

‘Shiva-pratap Din’ was celebrated at Natubaug Maidan near Bajirao Road by ‘Samasta Hindu Aghadi’. Brigadier Dr. S. K. Ambike (retired), former MLA Ashok Modak, Major Ramesh Upadhyay (retired), Chief Convener Milind Ekbote, Om singh Bhati etc were present on the occasion.  Bajarang Dal’s Coordinator Sambhaji alias Banda Salunkhe from Kolhapur was felicitated with ‘Hindavi Swarajya-bhushan Veer Jeeva Mahale’ award and ‘Hindutva Shaurya’ award was conferred on ‘Gou-rakshak’ Machhindra Shirke from Malegaon.

Vikram Gokhale said further that

1. Every Muslim is not a terrorist; but every terrorist is a Muslim and it has been the truth underlying in past 3 decade’s history. It is very unfortunate that majority population is hurt owing to wrong policies of politicians but they don’t realize it.

2. Hindu is not just Dharma but it is a culture of living life. Everyone needs to read biography of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj if condition of this country is to be improved.

3. It is sad to appease people for politics of votes. Had the colour of Indian cap was saffron from the year 1942, India would have been a totally different country today.

4. It has become an addiction in Maharashtra to create rift amongst Brahmins and Marathas or abusing Brahmins. Shiva Chhatrapati is revered by Brahmins in the same way as he is revered by Maratha community but new history is taught forgetting these facts; therefore, we should be updated with present day politics as there is still some scope for improvement.
