Opposition by Hindus leads to cancellation of proposed program of Christian missionaries 

Executive Engineer issues letter to organizers regarding cancellation of program

Sangvi (Pimpri-Chinchwad) : ‘Mukti Mahotsav’ organized by Christian missionaries at Sangavi is on the verge of cancellation owing to strong united opposition by pro-Hindu organizations such as Bajarang Dal, VHP, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti among others. (Congratulations to ‘Hindutvavadis’ trying for cancellation of program where Christian missionary Lazarus is to be the main speaker, who had made anti-Hindu statements like ‘People will not be saved by Hindus’ Deities or by applying sandalwood paste on forehead but only Jesus will save them’ or ‘Geeta, Yoga so also ‘Surya-namaskar’ are devils’ ! Pro-Hindu organizations from all over the country should work together in this manner for establishment of Hindu Rashtra ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

1.A complaint was lodged by ‘Hindutvavadis’ with police station when they learnt about Christian missionary Mohan Lazarus, who has been accused of conversions and of making anti-Hindu statements, attending the program.

2. Later, ‘Hindutvavadis’ met Executive Engineer of PWD since on their ground, the program was to be held and explained to him that the organizers didn’t have necessary permission from police for the above program; so also reasons for their opposition. The Executive Engineer then issued a letter to the organizers for cancellation of the program. Cancellation of program is victory of ‘Hindutvavadis’ ! – Kunal Sathe, Bajarang Dal

Local pro-Hindu organizations and large number of devout Hindu youth were the reason that Executive Engineer issued a letter for cancellation of the program. Various pro-Hindu organizations opposed the program with unity. Cancellation of the program is therefore, a victory of ‘Hindutvavadis’. It is our firm opinion that even police would not grant permission for the program to avoid law and order problem.

All ‘Hindutvavadis’ came together and opposed to this program. It was possible only with God’s grace. We are following up the matter to see that the program would not be held.

We have already received permission for holding the program on PWD ground and the executive engineer has only made a request to us for cancellation of the program. We will, however, try to obtain police permission.
