Dy. Superintendent of Police Rajlakshmi Shivankar receiving representation from ‘Hindutvavadis’

Satara : Malpractices taking place during celebration of Navaratri festival should be prevented and the festival should be celebrated in ideal manner was the demand made on behalf of pro-Hindu organizations through representation submitted to District Collector Sou. Shweta Singhal and Dy. Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rajlakshmi Shivankar. Misconduct during Navaratri festival is causing irreparable harm to society, nation and Dharma; therefore, attention needs to be paid to these issues so as to prevent harm. The above demand was made by ‘Hindutvavadis’ on this occasion. DSP promised ‘Hindutvavadis’ that all police stations would be issued necessary instructions.

Shri. Jitendra Wadekar, city-Minister of VHP, Shri. Umesh Gandhi of ‘Hindu Mahasabha’, ‘Shivapratishthan Hindustan’s Shri. Amol More; Sou. Rupa Mahadik of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) etc were present on the occasion.

There is increase in immoral activities during the festival period. Many newspapers have published news about noticeable increase in abortion cases during this period. There is also danger of terrorist activities and riots staged by fanatics in this country. In this background, local administration should consider the following points.

1. To check identity cards before letting people in at ‘Dandiya’ and Navaratri programs.

2. Every ‘Mandal’ should have trained young members to fight against eve –teasers.

3. Girls should be requested to bring a family member with her for security.

Representation given to police at Akola

Akola : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) submitted a representation to Dy. regional Police Officer- City Division, demanding prevention of malpractices taking place during Navratri festival. Such misconduct was causing huge loss to society, nation and Dharma. Moreover, the country is also facing problems like terrorists’ activities and riots staged by fanatics. In this background, everyone needs to be alert, was the appeal made through the representation. The Officer promised to invite representatives of HJS for the meeting with Navratri Festival Committees so that the subject could be explained to them. Shri. Ajay Khot, Shri. Prashant Patil,  Shri. Avinash More of HJS and Sou. Madhuri More and Kum. Nidhi Bais of ‘Ranaragini’ Division were present on the occasion.
