HJS demands action against those responsible for death of cows in Gou-shala

Take stringent action against persons responsible for death of cows from Shri Vitthal-Rukmini Mandir Samiti’s Gou-shala : HJS submits representation to regional officer after intense demonstrations

Pandharpur (Dist. Solapur) : Cows from Sir Vitthal-Rukmini Mandir Samiti’s ‘gou-shala’ consumed plastic resulting in their death. All the persons responsible for cows’ death should be stringently punished, was the demand made during demonstrations staged on 13th May at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) along with Warkaris. On 15th May, a representation was submitted to dy. regional officer Shri. Shendage, at his office. He promised to take action on the same. It has also been demanded in the representation that there should be transparency in management of ‘gou-shala’ and fodder and cows should be properly looked after properly. Shri. Balasaheb Dingare, President of ‘Hindu Mahasabha’, Shri. Sunil Satpal, a social worker, Shri. Pratapsingh Salunkhe of ‘Shri Shivapratishthan Hindustan’, Shri. Ganesh Lanke of ‘Peshava Yuva Manch’ and Shri. Rajan Bunage, Shri Shashishekhar Patil, Shri. Mohan Lokhande and Shri. Rajendrta Mali were present on the occasion.
