HJS Bangalore holds Press Meet to debunk the eco-friendly campaign of environmentalists on Ganeshotsav

In response to the anti-Hindu campaign by environmentalists regarding the ‘type of Ganesh idols’, HJS held a Press Meet at the Bangalore Press Club in Cubbon Park .  Mr. Chandra Moger Convener HJS Bangalore and HJS members Mr. Jayanth and Mr. Sadashiv were present. Mr. Chandra Moger mentioned that the Paper pulp based idols do not have the capacity to imbibe the divine vibrations of the Lord. Also the immersion of such idols in water would lead to pollution as the paper used for this purpose contains a large amount of chemicals. On the contrary the idols made of clay with natural colours have the capacity to imbibe the Divine vibrations and the person offering obeisance to the idol gets the benefit of the Divine Vibrations emanating from it.

Mr. Moger also mentioned that there has been a great amount of malpractices during the Ganeshotsav Festival. People have forgotten the main reason for holding this Festival in communities. He reminded as to how during the Freedom struggle Lokmanya Balgangadhar Tilak organized the Ganeshotsav Festival to unite Hindus, motivate and unite them in the fight against the British. But the time has come where similar situation has arisen. He demanded that Cultural programmes and lectures on Nation Building and Righteousness should be arranged.
