Sri Mahalakshmi Mandir and heritage places should not become grounds to play politics and racism !

Demand of ‘Hindutvavadis’ in a meeting of ‘Sri Ambabai Bhakta Samiti’

‘Hindutvavadis’ participating in a meeting held at Shri Uttareshwar Mandir

Kolhapur – Different organizations and parties, along with Shiv Sena, have started agitations on the issue of removal of ‘Sripujaks’. Had ‘Pashchim Maharashtra Devasthan Vyavasthapan Samiti’ taken initiative from time to time for avoiding rift between ‘Sripujaks’ and demonstrators, the temple wouldn’t have become a battle-field and desecration of Sri Mahalakshmi Devi taking place so far, would have been prevented. ‘Sripujaks’ and demonstrators should follow respective Code of Conduct for their duties and should take care to see that the ‘Devasthan Samiti’ which is not accused of corruption and defamation of this temple is prevented. The above opinions were expressed by ‘Hindutvavadis’ during the meeting held on behalf of ‘Sri Ambabai Bhakta Samiti’ on 21st June at 5.00 p.m. at Sri Uttareshwar Mandir. The meeting was chaired by Shri. Sambhaji Salunkhe, the District-Chief of Bajarang Dal.

Views expressed by dignitaries

Non-Hindus need not interfere in matters related to Sri Mahalakshmi Mandir ! – Shri. Sambhaji Salunkhe

It was in the hands of Devasthan Samiti to see that no clashes were created about Sri Mahalakshmi Mandir. Agitators and ‘Sripujaks’ should avoid war of handbills. Stop defamation of Devi and Mandir taking place through social websites. Agitators, who don’t believe in Dharma and God, should be removed from the agitations. Appropriate decision should be taken in the meeting held by administration for assurance of devotees. Few non-Hindus are speaking in ‘Pujari Hatao’ agitation. They need not interfere in Hindu Dharma matters; else they will be given apt reply. Organizations like ‘Bhoomata Brigade’ are spoiling the social atmosphere of Kolhapur. Local administration should take timely action against them and put curb on them.

Apt reply will be given to those who are not maintaining sanctity of Devi ! – Shri. Mahesh Ursal

A message is circulated in the name of one ‘Sripujak’ on social website for last 4 days in which objectionable information has been used denigrating Devi. Such perverted writings are creating fury amongst devotees and apt reply will be given to those who are not maintaining sacredness of Devi. Police should find such perverted persons lacking understanding of mother-child relationship and stringent action should be taken against them, demanded Shri. Mahesh Ursal.

Participating ‘Hindutvavadis’

Shri. Madhukar Nazare and Shri. Sudhakar Sutar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Shri. Mahesh Ursal, city-Chief of Bajarang Dal, Shri. Avadhoot Bhatye of ‘Vande Mataram Youth Federation’, ‘Hindutvaavdis’ viz. Shri. Govind Deshpande, Shri. Sanjay Patil, Shri. Arun Tibile, Shri. Mayur Tambe, Shri. Lakshman Jadhav, Shri. Pramod Sawant, Shri. Ramesh Salokhe, Shri. Shyam Patil, Shri. Raju Jadhav, Shri. Ravindra Bhosale, Shri. Sunil Patil, Shri. Rahul Patil, Shri. Sachin Patil, Shri. Mahesh Nalawade, Shri. Nitish Kulkarni, Shri. Rajendra Suryavanshi etc were present. ‘Hindutvavadis’ stand was supported by Uttareshwar Peetha, ‘Talim Mandal’ and entrepreneurs from Udyamnagar, Powarnagar.

‘Sripujaks’ should perform ‘puja’ of Sri Mahalakshmi Devi !- Shri. Madhukar Nazare

Temples in this country are not managed under Constitution of this country but are managed as per Dharma-shastra. The Government priests appointed after ‘Badave-Utpat’ were removed at Pandharpur, have no knowledge on how to perform ‘puja’; therefore, there is lot of disorder at Pandharpur temple. ‘Sripujaks’ should not therefore, be removed from Sri Mahalakshmi Mandir but there should be some kind of curb on them. Devi’s ‘puja’ has to be performed by ‘Sripujaks’ in temple. Persons and organizations not believing in God, should keep away from the agitations. The Government should take decision keeping such people away.

Complaint will be lodged with SP against the persons sending controversial message about Sri Mahalakhsmi Devi !

Non-Hindus need not interfere in matters related to Hindu temples and organizations. Hindus will come together to solve this problem since it is related to Hindus. It was made clear in the meeting that within 2 days, a complaint would be lodged with Superintendent of Police against persons posting objectionable message on social website related to Sri Mahalakshmi Devi.
