Fanatics harass Dr. Lambe on his lodging complaint with police but apt reply given by ‘Hindutvavadis’

Issue regarding Dr. Umesh Lambe, a volunteer of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) submitting representation against unauthorized loudspeakers on mosques

Congratulations to ‘Hindutvavadis’ for extending support to another ‘Hindutvavadi’ ! All Hindus need to learn from this example ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat

Kurundwad (Dist. Kolhapur) : Dr. Umesh Lambe, a volunteer of HJS joined in submission of representation against illegal loudspeakers; therefore, local fanatics have been harassing Dr. Lambe in different ways since 15th May. Dr. Lambe, therefore, lodged 3 complaints with Kurundwad police station in this context; giving  names of few fanatics, troubling him. On 30th May at 9.00 p.m., therefore, some fanatics got together and asked for explanation from him. (Hinds have demanded that police should provide security to Dr. Lambe since there is danger from fanatics !- Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Large number of ‘Hindutvavadis’ reached as soon as they heard about the same, in support of Dr. Lambe; as a result, fanatics had to leave from there.

Sequence of incidents is as given below

1. On 30th May at night, few young men were sitting on the steps of Dr. Lambe’s clinic. Police had asked Dr. Lambe to take photographs of persons in the background of his harassment by people. Accordingly, Dr. Lambe took their photographs. In a little while, mother of one of the young men went to him and said that her son was not troubling him, then why did he take a photo of her son. Few women from the lane also joined her and in short while, even father of that young man reached there. They started threatening Dr. Lambe that they would not go to him for treatment.

2. At the same time, a group of local 40-50 fanatics reached there and asked Dr. Lambe that if he was harassed by young men from other areas and not by children from that lane, why did he give names of children from their lane ? They also said that Dr. Lambe should have told them about problems he faced with others. They claimed to have helped Dr. Lambe even earlier. In the meanwhile, one ‘Hindutvavadi’ noticed the mob and informed other ‘Hindutvavadis’; so about 50 ‘Hindutvavadis’ gathered there within 5 minutes. Thereafter, arguments started between ‘Hindutvavadis’ and fanatics.

Few fanatics however, left after 9.00 p.m. for ‘namaz’ and few left since ‘Hindutvavadis’ reached there.

Anger over representation submitted against unauthorized loudspeakers on mosques : Fanatics trying to create terror with different means of harassment !

No action by police against suspects despite lodging 3 complaints !  

Is it Pakistan that a ‘Hindutvavadi’ is being constantly harassed by fanatics ? Police arrest innocent Hindus on false accusations made by fanatics and promptly file cases; but take no action against fanatics continuously harassing Hindus. Police should provide security to Dr. Lambe for protection from fanatics who are constantly harassing him ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat

Kurundwad (Dist. Kolhapur), 30th May – Dr. Umesh Lambe, a volunteer of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) from Kurundwad joined in giving representation against unauthorized loudspeakers ; therefore, local fanatics are harassing him since 15th May in various ways. (During past 70 years, Congress Government has pampered fanatics so much that they have become insolent and audacious; therefore, Hindus, in their own country, have to face fanatics’ terrorism. Hindus must realize that Hindu Rashtra is therefore, required to bring change in this situation ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) On 29th May, fanatics broke window-glass of Dr. Lambe’s clinic so as to create terror. Fanatics removed ‘spark plug’ of Dr. Lambe’s bike and threw it in gutter; seat of his bike was also torn by fanatics with blade; they put chewing-gum in all locks where key is inserted. In this way, fanatics are harassing him in shameful manner.

Dr. Lambe lodged 3 complaints with Kurundwad police station but no action was taken against first 2 complaints. Third complaint has been lodged on 29th May when police only promised to take action. Police have not taken any action promptly despite lodging of 3 complaints. (In such sensitive issue, in fact, police were expected to take action on their own. Had a fanatic lodged even a false complaint against any Hindu, police would have immediately filed a case and arrested him! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

1. Municipality of Kurundwad had passed a resolution 30 years back for naming one road as ‘Chhatrapati Sambhajiraje Marg’ and name-board was also put up there. Since last ten years, however, local fanatics have been causing damage to the name-board and trying to change name of that road. Local residents and ‘Hindutvavadis’ had lodged several complaints with municipality and police department. Request was made to municipality to replace the damaged name-boards but nothing has been done.

2. Finally, local citizens put up an arch with the name of ‘Dharmaveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji raje Marg’ so that there was no scope for causing damage.

3. It enraged fanatics and they lodged complaint that the arch was causing hindrance for traffic and should be removed. Local Hindus said that fanatics added even few Hindus’ names on the application and signed for them.

4. Municipality took note of that complaint and served notice for removal of arch.

5.On 10th May, therefore, local ‘Hindutvavadis’, Bajarang Dal and other organizations took out a march to police station and gave complaint to remove unauthorized loudspeakers from prayer house and demanded that the arch of ‘Dharmaveer Sambhajiraje’ should not be removed but should be made authorized.

6. The Chief Officer promised them that within 8 months, all legal formalities would be completed and the arch would be made legal.

7. Dr. Umesh Lambe was present in all the above incidents as a representative of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti; therefore, fanatics are harassing Dr. Lambe.

8. Dr. Lambe lodged a complaint on 17th May with Kurundwad police station against unknown persons trying to cause harm to his life and damaging his property; demanding necessary action be taken against them.

9. No action was taken by police till 25th May; then, fanatics tore his bike-seat with blade; so another complaint was lodged but still no action was taken by police and on 29th May, fanatics damaged window-glass of Dr. Lambe’s clinic.

10. With the third complaint lodged on 29th May, names of 72 suspects have also been submitted to the police station.

On 29th May, Police Inspector Kadam surveyed the damage caused to Dr. Lambe’s clinic. PI Kadam said that he would admonish the concerned people; however, he didn’t hold ‘panchnama’ at the place of incident. (Will insolent fanatics improve only by admonishing ? When is the Government and police going to realize that their insolence would continue till stringent action was not taken against them ? –  Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
