Anti Faith Bill

Mumbai : Despite collecting millions of rupees from other countries; but claiming that no such funds are received; however, managing a Trust with billions of rupees, the chief executive of Andha-shraddha Nrimulna Samiti (ANS) has deceived Maharashtra Government and people by not keeping transparency in annual accounts submitted to Charity Commissioner and in other financial matters.

ANiS and MVV were propagating that ‘nirmalya (flowers offered to God)’ immersed in water along with the idols of Sri Ganesh cause pollution of water and they undertook a drive for donation of ‘nirmalya’ which turned out to be a total fiasco at Chopda.

In the background of the session, press conference was held by the Government on Sahyadri Guest House which was attended by the CM as also Dy. CM. While talking about the Anti-Superstitions Act, the CM said, “The Government is going to try to achieve the basic concept behind passing this Act by attending to the objections raised by some people.”

Representatives of HJS and Warakari Organizations today met Mr. Pandurang Fudkar, the Opposition leader in Legislative Council, MNS group leader Mr. Bala Nandgaonkar, Shiv Sena group leader and MLA, Mr. Diwakar Raote, Shiv Sena MLA and spokesperson Dr. Neelam Gorhe, BJP zonal President Mr. Sudhir Mungatiwar and its MLA Mr. Girish Bapat, besides Mr. Eknath Khadase, the Opposition leader in legislative Assembly.

A protest rally was organized at Alandi to show opposition to the anti superstitions Bill proposed by the Maharashtra Government and Narahari Maharaj addressed the participants. More than 125 warakaris and citizens were present on the occasion.

Anti-superstitions Bill which brings restrictions on Hindus from following ‘Dharmacharan’, has been approved by the Legislature. Yesterday, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar had assured that the Act would be passed after carrying out modifications so that there would be no restrictions on Warakaris and performing religious ceremonies; but the promise was not kept.

There is severe opposition to the proposed Bill named ‘Maharashtra eradication of inhuman, dreadful and other undesirable traditions including human sacrifice Ordinance 2011’ which the Maharashtra Government is trying to pass under the influence of Andha-shraddha Nirmulan Samiti (ANiS).

HJS staged demonstrations at Dombivali (West) and Dadar to protest against this Act.

HJS held demonstrations outside the railway station against the proposed anti-superstitions Act. Activists of all-India Hindu Mahasabha, BJP and Sanatan Sanstha took part in the demonstrations. Hundreds of people put their signatures on the representation to show their opposition.

ANS would start an agitation, ‘Tie a band on eyes’ on 13th June in Jalgaon to pass ‘Eradication of Blind Faith’ law by government of maharashtra.

Mumbai: The Disputed Act of eradication of blind faith is given to 'Chikista' Samiti of Maharashtra Government to take decision by studying the errors/discrepancies in it.

Mumbai: Shri. Ashok Chavan, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra said that the Government has positive view on the anti-Superstition Bill and further action will be taken after the decision of Joint Review Committee is known.

Judge refused the Act to eradicate blind faith. Dr. Dabholkar promoter of the said act should retire now!
