Miraj Riots: Police want to conduct 'Narco' test of Hindu who put of picture of slaying of Afzal Khan

The police do not feel it necessary to conduct ‘Narco’ test for the person who was flying a green flag on the police vehicle; but they demand ‘Narco’ test for a devout Hindu and nationalist like Mr. Vikas Suryavanshi who has displayed a scene from history depicting Afzal Khan’s slaying. If such policemen are killed by the fanatic traitors why would Hindus feel sorry for them? – Editor SP

Miraj (Maharashtra): Mr. Vikas Suryavanshi, the city-chief of Shiv Sena was taken into custody by the police on 4th October for erecting the arch during Ganesha Festival that displayed a picture depicting Afzal Khan’s slaying. Today he was presented in the Court as his term of police custody was getting over. The police made appeal to the Court for permission to hold his ‘Narco’ test as he was the main person responsible for the riots. (Have you heard about the police doing ‘Narco’ test for any non-Hindu involved in a riot case ? Anti-Hindu police are demanding ‘Narco’ test for devout Hindus as if they are terrorists. Why should Hindus pay tax and provide for such police machinery? – Editor SP) Both the sides have since pleaded their case and the Court’s decision will be declared on 13th October.

On 30th September, Mr. Vikas Suryavanshi went to the police station by himself. He was granted bail in 5 cases whereas in one case, the Court granted him police custody till 12th October. On 4th October, the police arrested him under the clauses 395, 135, 427 when he was granted custody till 8th October. The police demanded that the interrogation of Mr. Suryavanshi was not yet over and the bail granted to him earlier in respect of other cases should be cancelled. Advocate Thanedar while presenting the case on behalf of Mr. Suryavanshi said that the police had first granted permission to display the picture and later, they withdrew the same. All the relevant papers are with the police. The bail granted to Mr. Suryavanshi can be cancelled only if there is a likelihood of his running away after release or meddle with the evidence; but both the things are not possible in case of Mr. Suryavanshi so the bail granted to him should not be withdrawn.

Miraj Riots: Controversial Police Inspector Bajirao Patil transferred

Miraj (Maharashtra): Most controversial chief Police Inspector of Anti-terrorists Squad, Bajirao Patil has been transferred out of the district. An order has been issued that Patil should be immediately relieved and should report to his new place of posting. It is said that a political leader is behind his sudden transfer.

‘Bajirao Patil is canvassing for a Congress candidate. If he is not transferred, I will burn myself alive.’ This was a threat given by an office bearer to Election machinery through a letter and the election machinery had called for details in the case. After working at Miraj police station as Police Inspector, he was transferred to Pune; but Mr. Patil had obtained a stay order on his transfer. He was the chief of ATS set up by Police Superintendent Krushna Prakash.

During his tenure as Police Inspector in Miraj, many of his decisions had become controversial. On the digital sign boards displayed on the occasion of his birthday, photograph of a notorious criminal was shown which had led to criticism on Mr. Patil. He was also accused of deliberately arresting many Hindu youth during the recent riots in Miraj.

Miraj Riots: 8 Hindus arrested for showing the riot related VCD on the website

Instead of investing their efforts in following up with those who caused the riots, the Police are after those who have only published the news about riots. The oppression of Kashmiri Hindus was not allowed to come out in the open by the police and all political parties; the result of which is that there are no Hindus now left in Kashmir.

Miraj (Maharashtra): The police have arrested 8 Hindus from Sangli for showing a VCD recording the riots on the internet. The arrested Hindus are – Tamma Basappa Shirgir (Age – 35 yrs), Umesh Rajaram Magdum (29 yrs), Pintu alias Tejas Pratap Bedekar (20 yrs), Vijay Nikam (29 yrs), Prashant Yadav (33 yrs), Jayant Jabshetty (33 yrs), Prabhakar Wandre (29 yrs) and Hardik Patel (23 yrs).
The above action was taken by Miraj city Police Inspector B. B. Reddy, chief inspector Bajirao Patil of ATS and Assistant Police Inspector Sunil Mahadik of ‘Cyber Crime Department’.

The police have alleged that the accused have video recorded one-sided happenings of the riots and this worsened the riot situation. The various equipment which were used by the accused in sending messages or making VCD have been confiscated by the police. They have also taken into custody 5 persons for inquiry in connection with sending SMS messages related to the riots on their cell phones and sending scenes shot by them in connection with riots. (This indicates that now in this Congress regime, nobody should reveal anything about any incidents actually happening in society. One should not inform anyone about such incidents but just keep their mouth shut and tolerate the oppression. What is the difference between a dictatorship and such a Congress regime ? – Editor SP)

The Police Superintendent Krushna Prakash has made an appeal to the citizens to give information about the ‘white collar’ criminals and has promised not to disclose the names of such informants.

‘Islam’ is a superior religion ! – Addl. Police Commissioner Suresh Khopde

Miraj (Maharashtra): I know Islam. After studying Islam, I have learnt that the meaning of Islam is to enter into peace. (From the past history, does the meaning seem to have been proved meaningful ? – Editor SP) The Islam religion is superior and has the capability to become a universal religion like Hindu Dharma. The above comments were made by the additional Police Commissioner Suresh Khopde from Mumbai in a program held here.

In this program, Mr. Khopde was asked questions like ‘Why the Government does not take action against those who pre-plan riots?’ but he tried to evade giving an answer. (The Addl. Police Commissioner following the foot-steps of politicians is avoiding important questions and singing the praises of certain religions! – Editor SP)

A lecture by Suresh Khopde was organized at I. A. M Hall on the topic ‘Experiment to control riots in Bhiwandi’ when he made the above comments.

In this program, Mr. Khopde explained about how communal riots are started, the damaging effects of riots, the strain on the police etc. in detail. He, however, did not elaborate on who is mainly responsible for  igniting the riots, on how many people are involved in starting the riots, whether the police takes action etc. (Thus after giving half hearted information, the police administration is ready to blow its own trumpet that they enlightened the citizens on issues such as riots! – Editor SP)

Findings of Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini

Mumbai: There were riots in Miraj due to the display of scenes of Afzal Khan’s slaying by Chhatarpati Shivaji Maharaj on the arches erected during Ganesha festival. Muslims had used this as an excuse to start riots. There were reverberations of riots felt even in the surrounding districts including Sangli. The election politics and bullying of the police have been the causes of this riot. The insensitive behaviour of the police towards common citizens is also responsible for worsening the situation. The above findings were placed before the journalists on behalf of Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini. (Nobody needs to wonder if the report is thrown in the dust-bin by branding it as one-sided and ‘saffron oriented’ by the power-hungry Congress due to its affinity for non-Hindus! – Editor SP)

Advocate Ganesh Sovani presented the above report in a press conference held at the ‘Press Club’ today. The Study Committee of ‘Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini’s ‘Human Rights Study Centre’ paid a visit to riot-stricken areas in Miraj, Sangli and Ichalkaranji during 17th to 22nd September 2009. The Committee was headed by Dr. Shantishri Pandit, the Professor of Political Science at Pune University and had other members viz. advocates Ganesh Sovani, Nitin Raut and Ashish Chavan besides Mr. Ravindra Sathe, the executive Director of the Prabodhini and its executive officer, Mr. Milind Arolkar. The press conference was attended by Dr. Vinay Sahastrabuddhe, the Director of the Prabodhini, Advocate Mr. Chavan and Advocate Mr. Arolkar.

Adv. Sovani said, “The police first took objection to the arches displaying pictures of Afzal Khan’s killing and few Muslims added fuel to the fire which lead to the riots. Even at Ichalkaranji, the riot situation worsened because of politics played by parties and the police filing false charges against innocent citizens.”

Recommendations of the Study Committee of Mhalgi Prabodhini

1.      Innocent citizens arrested by the police should be immediately released.
2.      Guilty police should be punished.
3.      The State Human Rights Commission should take a serious note of these riots and issue an order for conducting an enquiry.
4.      Special care should be taken for the protection of human rights of common people.
5.      Awareness should be created among the police towards human rights.
6.      The police and Director General of Police should form an action group to impart training to increase sensitivity towards such incidents.
7.      Procedure should be devised to have proper coordination, communication and balance among the police force during the riots.

Prabodhini takes note of injustice done to pro-Hindus along with ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’

The founder of Shri Shiva-pratishthan Mr. Sambhajirao Bhide Guruji, Shiv Sena and BJP took the initiative to calm down the riot situation. But the police did not spare even them. The distributors of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ have been falsely implicated under some offences. In all 500 false cases have been filed by the police and more than 170 Hindus are in jail. Advocate Sovani said that even in Ichalkaranji, riots were started so that the Shiv Sena and BJP should not become overpowering and pro-Hindus should not get elected in the forthcoming elections. He informed that the Prabodhini would be lodging a complaint with the State Human Rights Commission in this regard.

Miraj Riots: Transfer of the Police Sub-Inspector who gave Green flag honorably to Muslim to hoist!

Miraj Riots issue: Inactive Congress Government acts after 21 days on Police Sub-Inspector whose action triggered the Riots !

Miraj (Maharashtra): When rioting Muslim Shahid Bepari was going to hoist the Green flag atop a Police vehicle, the Flag had fallen down from his hands. At that time, Police Sub-Inspector gave him back the fallen Flag honorably and now he has been transferred to a Pune Rural Police Station. (Last year when Police Sub-Inspector Mr. Sahebrav Patil took action against rioting Muslims in the riots of Rabodi, Thane, he was immediately transferred by Congress. But the same Congress takes action on Police Sub-Inspector who was responsible for Miraj riots after 21 days. This is the Pro-Muslim behavior of Congress! – Editor SP)

This transfer was done by the order of the Director of Police S. N. Virk. Some other Police officers and other Police personals may be transferred. Hindus have demanded ‘We do not want only the transfer of Edage, but strict action should be taken against him after his enquiry’. (O Hindus, remember that until you make a Hindu Vote bank, the Congress Government will not take care of your demands ! – Editor SP)

On 2nd September, Shahid Bepari climbed onto a Police vehicle along with the Green Flag in his hands. When this Green flag was falling down, Edage caught it and handed over the Flag honorably to Bepari after he stood atop the Police vehicle. (Transfer of such a Pro-Muslim Police Sub-Inspector to another area means injustice to Hindus living there and ample room for appeasement of Muslims by him ! – Editor SP) Then Bepari hoisted the Green Flag on Police vehicle. (This is nothing but the horrible outcome of too much appeasement of Muslims by the Rulers ! Now Muslims are acting like everything is their own property ! – Editor SP)

As an answer to this act of hoisting the Green Flag, Hindus tried to hoist the Saffron Flag. This effort was not accepted by Muslims and they started Riots. Then Muslims damaged the ‘Welcome Arch’ erected by Hindu Ekata Andolan and also desecrated Ganesh Idols in pundols. At this time instead of Muslims, Sub-Inspector Edage intensely attacked Hindus as per eye-witnesses of this incident. Hindus were very angry as Pro-Muslim Police officials like Edage are investigating the cause of the Riots and that they are taking action only against Hindus. (When will the Police realise that even though they are appeasing Muslims to such an extent, the Police are also ‘Kafir’ for Muslims? O Hindus, decide now only whether to save such Policemen when Muslims end up attacking them in the future? – Editor SP)

Miraj Riots: Bepari, who hoisted the Green Flag, lived in house of Govt. Servant!

Ichalakaranji (Maharashtra): The Police recently arrested Shahid Mohammad Ali Bepari, who hoisted the Green Flag atop the vehicle of Police SP. It has come to light in the Police investigations that after committing such an outrageous crime, Shahid and his two friends stayed in the house of Corporation Engineer Bapusaheb Chaudhari for two days. (Such officers who give shelter to rioting Muslims in their own house are nothing but Anti-Social elements. Citizens should force the Government to take strict action against such officers ! – Editor SP)

Then Shahid went to live in Shigadi, at his friend’s in-law’s house. Two sons of Chaudhari gave information to the Police about that home. Then the Police arrested Bepari in Shigadi. This information was given by Additional Police SP Sunil Bhardwaj to journalists.
On Saturday, the Police raided the house of Chaudhari in the early hours of the morning. But before that Bepari fled away from there. (What is the use of such a Police force which raids the house after the criminal has fled ? How can such Police officials establish law & order in Society? – Editor SP)

Before this incident, Bapusaheb Chaudhari had given an illegal connection of Water to Idgah Gound, where Muslims offer Namaj, even though this Court case is going on related to this place. When he got information that the Water Supply Department has not got its payment and this incident will come to light, Chaudhari removed this illegal Water Connection immediately in the night. (Shame on such Officers who calmly pocket their salary from the taxes paid by Hindus and give inflated importance to Muslims involved in illegal activities. Such Officers make an intellectual revolution the need of the hour ! – Editor SP)

Inefficiency of the impotent Police, who arrested the Muslim, hoisting Green Flag on the vehicle of Police SP, after 12 days

Miraj (Maharashtra): Here a scene of the ‘Slaying of Afzal Khan’ was erected in Shrikant square and Muslims gathered together in a mob to demand the removal of this scene. Police SP Krushna Prakash was trying to control the mob by talking to them.

At this time, Shahid Bepari hoisted the Green Flag on the vehicle of Police SP Krushna Prakash. After watching this outrageous act, there was an explosion of anger in people. The Police arrested this Shahid after 12 days in Shigadi (District Belgaum). (This is the efficiency of Police ! Muslim youth insulted the Police by hoisting a Green flag atop a vehicle of the Police SP. Can the Police who arrest the criminal after 12 days impose law and order on the Hindus? – Editor SP)

Shahid was presented before the First Class Magistrate today. The Magistrate ordered the Police to keep him in Police Custody until 17th September. Shahids was also involved in starting the Riots. There is a surge of talking in Political Circles, as Shahid is an activist related to a political leader. The Anti-Terrorist Squad has started to take action against him. Also an enquiry about the people who produced the Video CD of the Riots has started and even some names have come to light in the Police investigation. When Muslims start Riots, then Social Harmony does not get disturbed, but if someone gives information about it via Video CDs then harmony gets disturbed. How this can be justified ? (It proves that the Congress Govt. wants that Hindus must not oppose Muslims even if they are committing atrocities on Hindus. Due to this strategy of the Congress, the World does not know about the Atrocities on Kashmiri Hindu Pandits and today not even a single Hindu is living in Kashmir. Suppression of Freedom of Media by Police!

Sangli (Maharashtra): One Muslim youth hoisted the Green flag on a vehicle of the Police Superintendent. This incident was published in many daily newspapers with photos. These photos and the videos of it are proof of the fact that the Police Administration didn’t act to stop the riots and this fact has amply come to light for all to see. The Police now want to redeem their image in society and so are demanding for the videos and photos related to the riots, from the newspapers. The Police has issued a notice to the newspapers regarding this issue. (The Police have such an inflated sense of importance that they can do anything they want. The Police are even trying to suppress the freedom of the media and the newspapers ! – Editor SP)

The Newspapers who got this notice, expressed their anger against it and said that this is nothing but an attack on the freedom of newspapers. One and half years back, the Police brutally attacked the pro-Hindu leader Mr. Sambhajirao Bhide Guruji as per the order by the Police officer Krushna Prakash. Then there was an explosion of anger against the Police in people. Detailed news about this attack was broadcasted on one News Channel. This News Channel presented the facts before the people. 

However, the Police issued a notice to the News Channel saying that ‘The riots were started due to news that was broadcast by your channel’ and bullied them by taking legal action against the News channel. (These rogue like Police officials are now accusing a truthful News Channel for being truthful ! – Editor SP) Now also the Police are repeating the same strategy and sending notices to Newspapers. (This is not a democracy. Citizens are staggering under the dictatorship of this Police force ! – Editor SP)

Police register serious IPC sections on Hindus and mild IPC sections on Muslims!

Shiv Sena alleges that even the prime suspects of the Riots has also changed !

Only the Shiv Sena can dare to talk so candidly !

Sangli (Maharashtra) : The perpetrators of the Miraj Riots, who desecrated the Ganesh Idols and hoisted the flag on the vehicle of the Police SP, are different from those who are actually accused and arrested by the Police. Shiv Sena’s ex-district chief Mr. Appasaheb Katkar stated this fact at a Press Conference. He also further said, “Sections of IPC imposed on Hindus like 153 A, B are serious IPC sections, while IPC sections imposed on Muslims are mild.” (This is nothing but plot of the Anti-Hindu Congress and the Police to curtail and then destroy Hinduism by torturing staunch devout Hindus ! – Editor SP)

Mr. Katkar further said, “Sections imposed on Hindus describe crimes of trying to threaten National Unity and sections imposed on Muslims are described as mere brawls. Why this partiality? We have demanded an answer, to our outraged enquiry regarding the partiality by the Police, to Election Commission, Director of Police and to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. The Shiv Sena took proper legal permission to erect an arch depicting the ‘Slaying of Afzal Khan’ in Miraj. Then why are crimes being registered against activists and designated officers of the Shiv Sena? 

If the responsibility of the riots are being placed squarely on the shoulders of activists and designated officers of the Shiv Sena, then the Police administration is also responsible for the very same as they themselves gave the permission for the arch. IPC sections 153 A and B should also be imposed on the Police.”

We will fight in Court if the time comes !

“District Chief of Shiv Sena Mr. Bajarang Patil was in jail when one crime was registered against him. How could a second crime be registered against him when at that very time he was in jail ? If the Police do not withdraw their charges against Mr. Patil, then we will fight against it in Court. IPC sections 153 A and B are imposed on Pro-Hindus Mr. Bajarang Patil and Mr. Vikas Suryavanshi.
However these sections have not been imposed on Imran Nadaf and Taufiq Bagwan who are the main accused of the Riots. If everyone knows who is responsible for the Riots, then why this suppression of the truth, which is in anycase common knowledge to all in Sangli ?” said Mr. Katkar.

Enquiry of officials should be done who gave the illegal order !

Mr. Katkar demanded that “All Police officers are also responsible for the Riots, so action should also be taken against them. The Tehsildar of Miraj issued an order that arrested Hindus should bring Muslim guarantors and vice-versa. This order is illegal, so an enquiry into it is also essential.”

Miraj Riots Issue: Mughal-like Regime by Administration

Miraj (Maharashtra): The Miraj police are registering crimes against many innocent youth and other Hindus under various sections of the Penal Code, as per the command of the Administration and Police SP Krushna Prakash. The Police are involving many innocent Hindus who didn’t take part in the Riots. Hence citizens are angry with the Police.

False commitments by Administration

The Riots took place in Miraj after objections to a scene depicting the ‘Slaying of Afzal Khan’, desecration of Ganesh Idols and damage to the welcome arch of ‘Hindu Ekta Andolan’. The Police registered crimes against 250 youth regarding the issue of Riots. Maharashtra CM Mr. Ashok Chavan in an All Party meeting at Mumbai and Home Minister Mr. Jayant Patil in a meeting at Miraj, assured that Police will take back the registration of crimes against innocent youth. But in reality, the Administration has not acted as per the commitment given by the CM and Home Minister.

The Administration warned about action against the youth involved in the Riots after watching the Video footage on the riots. The Miraj Police have registered complaints against the youth, alleging their involvement in the Riots under the Indian Penal Code sections 142, 143, 147, 149, 188 and BP Act 335. The administration is not taking back these crimes, even after demands by Hindus. So this act of the Administration is creating anger in the Youth.

Rush of leaders increases in Court and at the Police Station

Sangli, (Maharashtra): The citizens of Sangli could breathe freely after 8 days of tension. Last Saturday, the main bazaar could not be held due to riots. Today all markets were crowded with people. The vegetables arriving in the market were in good quantity as such the cost were under control. (People must note that the Congress Government did nothing to bring the costs of essential commodities under control during the period of curfew although every newspaper had published the news about hike in prices!– Editor SP) Everywhere, there was rush of citizens for shopping of various things.

Although the curfew has been relaxed in Sangli and Miraj, large police force has been deployed at both the places. No untoward incident was reported today in either of the towns. Many organizations had called on the District Collector and demanded to lift curfew.

Transfer of Revenue and Police Officers take momentum

The Administration has failed in bringing the riots under control. The action to transfer the senior officers from Revenue and Police Departments has taken momentum.

Sangli (Maharashtra): Muslims tore the saffron flag flowing in the centre at Shivaji Chowk in Bawachi. They also damaged a display board of Shri Shiva-pratishthan on which there was a picture of Sambhaji Maharaj. (Every nerve of Muslims is filled with Hindu-hatred.!– Editor SP) The enraged Hindus therefore, damaged two cycle shops, 4 shops selling meat, a book shop, an ice cream shop along with a mosque. Tyres were burnt at various places.

As the Hindus came to know about the damage, thousands of them came on the road and expressed their anger by pelting stones.

Congress leaves thousands of rioting Muslims by arresting only few Muslims like Imran Nadaf!

Kolhapur (Maharashtra): The Sangli police, with the help of their counterparts in Kolhapur, arrested the mastermind behind the riots that took place in Miraj. Capitalizing on the picture depicting slaying of Afzal Khan, Imran Hasan Nadif (Age-30 years, Res.- Near Nadaf Mosque, Miraj) had devised a ploy to start riots in Miraj. (It took 8 days for the Police to nab the mastermind behind the riots. How long will they take to find the terrorists who are highly trained? – Editor SP)

This is the arrested Idol breaker Muslim, Imran Nadaf

Nadaf had hatched a plot with the help of few local Muslim goons from Miraj. After arresting him, he was beaten up all the way to the Police Station. He was planning to run away to Gujarat. He went to Kolhapur on Wednesday evening. He contacted few businessmen indulging in immoral business and asked them for financial help. The police got the wind of it and as per the instructions given by the Upper Director General of Police, Shivprasad Yadav, Sangli Police contacted their counterparts in Kolhapur and laid a trap to nab him. Mr. Yadav interrogated him for 2 hours when a lot of shocking information came to light.

Imran had addressed a gathering of Muslims at Shrikant Chowk in Miraj to instigate them to start riots. He also incited Jamir Faulad, giving him a green flag, to climb on the police vehicle right in front of the District Chief of Police, Krushnaprakash who was present there with many Police Officers. Later during the riots, Imran broke the ‘welcome arch’ erected by ‘Hindu Ekta Andolan’, pelted stones at the Sree Ganesha Idol installed by Maharana Pratap Ganeshotsava Mandal thus denigrating the Idol. He pulled down the banner of the Ganesha Mandal and damaged it by trampling the same. The above information was given by the police to the reporters.

For the past few years, Imran was staying at Navasari in Surat District, Gujarat and Bhiwandi. He was in contact with a few criminal gangs initiating riots at Navasari. It has come forth in the police interrogation that he had undergone training on how to provoke and incite masses. He came to Kolhapur from Gujarat. He underwent religious training for 2 years at Kolhapur, and for an year, in Udgaon (Tal. Shirol) . Nadaf originally hails from Miraj, Kini Vathar (Tal. Hatkanangale) is where his wife comes from. He was minutely observing erection of arches in Miraj during Ganesha Festival. He had hatched a plot to start riots as soon as the picture depicting slaying of Afzal Khan was displayed on an arch. He had connived with some criminals from Bhiwandi along with local goons. He had held 2-3 meetings with his accomplices. He has been shown the film of riots by the Police and they have obtained names of his accomplices. Jamir Faulad has already been arrested by the Police. They have also arrested Mehboob Pirzade, the main suspect in the murder of Anil Patil, the President of Hindu Ekta that was committed about 15 years back. He had also helped Imran.

Miraj Bar Association decide not to take up Imran’s case

The Bar Association therefore, decided here that none of the members would fight the case on behalf of Imran.

Suspend the District Collector and District Police Superintendent – demand the Bar Association

The Bar Association also made a demand to immediately suspend District Collector, Mr. Shyam Vardhane and SP, Krushnaprakash for their failure to control the situation and thus, they were also responsible for riots. They have also demanded an in-depth inquiry into the matter. A meeting was held of all the advocates in Miraj. The advocates who attended the meeting were – The President, Mr. Ankush Ranadive, A. S. Mr. Haridas Padalkar, the dy. city chief of the Shiv Sena exhibited 'kshatra-vrutti (fighting for a just cause)' to take revenge on the back-stabbing and to fulfil the lawful demands of Hindus. He suddenly went up to a building next to the Reception Cell set up by the Municipality and dropped and unfurled the picture showing the killing of Afzal Khan from the top of that building. Kolhapu (Maharashtra): Mr. Anil Shinde, the Sarpanch of Shiv Sena and other 10 pro-Hindus were brutally beaten up by the District Police Chief, Yashasvi Yadav and other Policemen at Unchgaon (Tal. Karveer). Mr. Diwakar Raote, a Shiv Sena MLA who had gone to Kolhapur to meet Mr. Shinde and other devout Hindus and enquire after them, was detained at the airport. As he got off the airplane, he was 'gheraoed' by the Police. He was not allowed to visit the district and sent back to Mumbai from the airport. 

It was stated by the Police that his visit to the district could have created a law and order problem. (How can there be a law and order problem if leaders of Hindus go to enquire after their people? Are these Hindu leaders terrorists? Mumbai: The poster depicting the scene of the Slaying of Afzal Khan was pulled down during the immersion procession. The Minister has claimed that the Police Superintendent was not obeying his orders. As such the Government seems to have become helpless before the Police. It has been proved that the Government has gone back on its word to appease the minorities for their votes. The above strong views were expressed by Mr. Gopinath Mundh, the General Secretary of BJP while condemning the Government. He was speaking in a press conference held in the party office. 

He said further that the Government is using double standards. The Home Minister has failed to bring the riots under control. As a result, it was decided in the all-party meeting on how to establish law and order in Miraj. In this meeting Government declared some measures. But it is observed that there is a difference in what the Chief Minister said and what he did. He said that the Government that assured to withdraw cases against the innocent workers and citizens detained during the riots, has issued notices to the Ganesha Committes.

Not only that but it has also issued a notice to Pujya Bhide Guruji asking him to refrain from joining the immersion procession. The decision actually taken regarding the display of the Afzal Khan picture is also not adhered to. The police threatened to take action if the Idols were not immersed when the curfew was lifted. Although it was not possible to solve the problem by using 'lathis' or guns, no decision to lift the curfew was taken in time and later only 5 hours time was given.

The Government that did not allow me to enter Miraj, has started arresting those who have been granted bail, said Mr. Munde. As a result, the members are displaying black ribbons to protest against the Government and taking part in the immersion procession. The treacherous Government is unnecessarily disturbing the peace now established in the area.

Immersion of Idols done with simmering discontent : Few Ganesha Committees firm on not immersing the Idols

Miraj (Maharashtra): Afzal Khan had tried to kill Shivaji Maharaj with treachery. The same history was repeated by the Congress Government by betraying Hindus in Miraj. (Hindus must keep Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as an ideal before them and treat the Congress Government in the same manner like Afzal Khan since the Government is indulging in back-stabbing Hindus in this country although they are supposed to be in the majority! - Editor SP)

Yesterday, the anti-Hindu Congress Government and Administration did not keep their promise; in fact, they claimed that they did not give any assureance that any scene of slaying of Afzal Khan would be erected.  (Even the British, although they were an aggressive enemy country, had never deceived Hindus in such a manner. If the Congress had deceived Muslims in this way, one can imagine what they would have done? It is only because of the lifeless Hindus that the Congress could dare to cheat them! - Editor SP)

Hindus were, however, forced to immerse Sree Ganesha Idols by the Government. (In the Divine kingdom, the Congress that has stooped to such low level due to their infatuation for the Muslims, will be severely punished! - Editor SP) All the above things have created discontent among Hindus. Few Ganesha Committees are, however, firm on their decision of not immersing the Idols and are protesting against this cheating by the Government. (Cheating by the Congress Government ! But congratulations to all those Ganesha Committees for not falling prey to the pressure tactics used by the Government ! - Editor SP)

The time limit for which permission was granted by the Administration for erecting the pandals during the Ganesha Festival, has come to an end and the Administration has threatened to take legal action against the Committees under section 144. (How is the Administration not ashamed to do such a thing? The Muslims and so also the Police who did not take prompt action against them for hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus, both are equally responsible for Hindus not immersing the Idols. When the Idols are still there, how can the pandals be removed? We condemn the Administration for taking action against the Committees without considering the situation! - Editor SP) The relevant news was published in today's newspapers. At 12.00 noon, the Administration went back on its word granting permission to erect an arch with pictures of Shivaji Maharaj killing Afzal Khan. Before that by 11.00 a.m., the Committees had started taking out the Idols for immersion. (This shows that the Govt. and Administration had planned to deceive Hindus! - Editor SP) The first Ganesha Idol that was immersed was of 'Ajinkyatara Ganesha Mandal'. By 1.00 p.m., 10 Idols were immersed.

We will show the strength of Hindus in these elections - reaction by infuriated Ganesha Committees

While expressing their views, few members of the Ganesha Committees said that the Police have beaten up innocent Hindus. Despite assurance, the picture of slaying of Afzal Khan has not been displayed on the route of Ganesha immersion. The Congress Rulers always work in the interest of Muslims. We shall show them the strength of Hindus in the forthcoming elections. We are wearing black ribbons to protest against the Government for cheating Hindus.

Ganesha-devotees protested in this manner against the anti-Hindu Congress Govt. !  

1. Members of most of the Ganesha Committees including 'Dagadushet Ganesha Festival' in Budhwar Peth were displaying black flags, wearing black robes and black ribbons on arms to protest against the Government. (The Congressmen should realise that today, Hindus are showing them black flags in protest but if such injustice goes on, they might not hesitate to paint the faces of Congressmen black! - Editor SP)
2. The women were wearing black sarees while performing 'arati'.
3. The Ganesha Committees were displaying the scene of slaying of Afzal Khan on the vehicles carrying Sree Ganesha Idols.
4. All Ganesha Committees were playing the ballads describing the killing of Afzal Khan and the bravery of Shivaji Maharaj and Shiv Sena's Party song instead of the usual re-mix of film songs.
5. Members of some Committees were raising slogans condemning the Government for cheating.  

Police say that no permission was granted for displaying the picture !

The Upper Director General of Police, Shivprasad Yadav, looking after the maintenance of law and order stated that no permission was granted for the display of the pictures showing the killing of Afzal Khan. (For the sake of maintenance of law and order, the Police are not ready to grant permission even for true history to be seen by the public. Sangli (Maharashtra): It is learnt from reliable sources that it has been proposed to take action against 12 police officers including seniors and 18 staff members including 2 drivers for not doing their duty properly and for not taking measures during the period of crisis while riots were going on in Miraj. A high level enquiry has been started by Additional Director General of Police, Shivpratap Singh Yadav. It is learnt that the report of the enquiry would be submitted in the next week. The Policemen include those not taking action against the Muslims who climbed on the top of the police vehicle and were flying the green flag, besides other policemen. BJP burns the effigy of front-led Govt.

Pandharpur (Maharashtra): Muslims started riots in Miraj at the precise time of the Ganesha festival. The Police did not treat media persons appropriately. BJP office bearers and workers who were planning to go to Miraj to protest against these incidents were brutally beaten up by the Police. In this whole turn of events, the Congress-led Government has only taken the role of a spectator. On behalf of BJP, therefore, an effigy of the Government was burnt at 'Tambda Maruti parisar' in protest. Slogans were raised against the Government. Miraj Riots: A Surge of Muslim Insolence in Miraj

Miraj (Maharashtra): Muslims objecting to arches depicting scenes of Afzal Khan’s killings, broke Ganesha Idols. In addition, there were infuriating incidents of throwing beef near the Maruti Mandir and the Jain Mandir. This was followed with the breaking of vehicles owned by Hindus and attacking Hindus with swords. (Such a Congress regime will remind Hindus of the regimes of the cruel Mughal kings ! Hindus, in the forthcoming elections be sure to eliminate the Mughal style Regime that our country has to endure due to the Congress! – Editor SP)

Today, in retaliation, the Hindus too became aggressive. On the third day after the riots, the Hindus tried to take out a rally but Police ‘lathi’ charged innocent Hindus. (When Muslims attacked Hindus, the Police performed their duty to the extent of being mute spectators but when Hindus took out a rally in protest, they started trashing the Hindus. Why then should Hindus pay taxes for the upkeep of Policemen who are a threat to the lives of Hindus? – Editor SP)

The Police did not spare even Hindu women. They hurt the women, chased Hindu youth in the gullies and brutally beat them up. (Hindus, make a note of these Policemen. When active and devout Hindus come to power, be prompt at taking strict action against them! – Editor SP) On the following day of Anant Chaturdashi, the Ganesha Committees were firm on their decision to immerse the Idols only after re-erection of the arch depicting the scene of the slaying of Afzal Khan.

Miraj was still seething on the third day, under the cudgels of the Idol-breaking Muslims and the objection they have raised about the history of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The Hindu women, who were on their way to submit a representation in a lawful manner, were ‘lathi’ charged by the Police in Shrikant Chowk. (Tomorrow when such Policemen are brutally attacked by Muslims for being ‘kafirs’, then should Hindus even consider rescuing them? – Editor SP) By using force on women, the Police have once again proved that the laws are enforced only for the Hindus in this country. (Nobody should be surprised if tolerant Hindus get fed up with the lenient and respectful behaviour of the Police towards the Muslims. No one can be shocked if gentle Hindus are forced to abandon their tolerant ways and follow in the footsteps of the brutal dastardly Muslims! – Editor SP)

Outburst of Hindu rage before the elected representatives !

Yesterday, the Police barged into the houses of Hindu youth and beat them up even while they were studying. The enraged Hindu women gathered near ‘Datta Mangal Karyalaya’ since morning. They condemned all the elected representatives. The chief of Surabhi Ganesha Committee tried to pacify them but he was helpless against the furore created by the womenfolk. Later, many leaders reached the place which included Chandrakantdada Patil, a BJP MLA, Suresh Khade, MLA, Sambhajirao Pawar, former MLA, Deputy Mayor Shekhar Inamdar.

But the women and other members, who had gathered there, refused to listen to them. For a long time, nobody was in a mood to listen to these representatives. Chandrakantdada Patil declared that he would be going on hunger strike until the arch was re-erected. Then the women agreed to go with him to submit the representation. Thousands of Hindus gathered at Shrikant Chowk to submit the representation while raising slogans. The Police were there in large numbers. They stopped the huge rally taken out by Hindus. (Our protective Police force who never fails to bow before Muslims is none the less ever prompt to stifle any sound made by Hindus !– Editor SP)

The Police try to throttle 'Dainik Sanatan Prabhat' (DSP)

DSP published detailed news about the oppression of Hindus by the Police Department, attacks on Hindus by fanatic Muslims in its today's issue. A copy of the issue was displayed on a board of a Ganesha Committee at Saraf Katta which helped Hindus to know the true situation. The Police, however, could not tolerate the awakening created among Hindus towards Dharma due to the newspaper and they took away the issue in the afternoon. While taking down the Dainik, the Police also noted down the names of the members of the Committee. Police again ‘lathi’ charge Hindus at immersion procession of Sree Ganesha in Amalner (Dist. Jalgaon)

Police bullying only against Hindus ! 

Amalner (Maharashtra): On 31st August, the Police had ‘lathi’ charged members of ‘Jai Bhavani Mitramandal (JBM)’ near ‘Dagadi Chawl’ for no rhyme or reason. The same thing happened even on the day of Anant Chaturdashi. (Note down the names and addresses of these Policemen who have been unnecessarily beating up Hindus to break their spirit so as to uphold Muslims! – Editor SP)

The police started a ‘lathi’ charge as the procession of ‘JBM’ reached the same spot. Hindus brought it to the notice of the police that the Muslims were taking advantage of the situation and pelting stones at them. Still they continued to beat up Hindus. As a result, some Hindus got angry and started pelting stones. Later, the immersion of the Idol was done. (Hindus must remember to be armed with weapons permitted by the law. Strong squads of Hindus need to accompany every protest rally. Hindu youth must now train themselves in self defense and be in full readiness to protect Dharma! – Editor SP)

On the same night, some unknown persons broke the door of a mosque in Balemiya Chowk. Muslims started a hunger strike to protest against the incident and demanded the arrest of Hindus. The Police have, therefore, started arresting any Hindu that they see in Maliwada, Bhoiwada, Pankhidki and Pailad areas. (Much like the Muslims, the Police too are equally after the lives of Hindus. However when Muslims unleash their fierce aggression even on the Police, then Hindus will have to decide whether they should rush to their aid or turn their backs on them! – Editor SP)

In the meanwhile, news about the death of a person hit in the town which led to the mushrooming of rumours, which in turn caused delicate situation to unfold. Additional Police forces have been deployed but there is a veil of tension that shrouds the deceptive calm in town.

Miraj (Maharashtra): During the Ganesha festival, a scene depicting the killing of Afzal Khan was displayed on an arch erected in Miraj and the local Muslims had started riots on that pretext. The city was peaceful but laced with a palpable tension. Devout Hindus were firm on the immersion of idols but only after re-erection of the said arch. The Police kept Hindus busy in discussions but had no control over the fanatic Muslims. (What else can you expect from the Police in a pro-Muslim Congress Government ? Why should Hindus then pay tax and provide for such a Police force ? - Editor SP) 

Three Hindus were brutally attacked by many Muslims. (How long are we going to tolerate such Muslim attacks during our festivals ? - Editor SP) The condition of one of the Hindus is serious. This has created a blotch on the great tradition of immersion of Sree Ganesha idols followed in Miraj and the Ganesha festival ended without immersion of idols. (Hindus beware ! Today the tradition of immersion has been broken. If the appeasement of Muslims by Congress Govt. goes on and Muslims continue to be insolent as usual; next time, it may become difficult to even bring home and worship Ganesha idols. Overthrow this vote-hungry Congress Government in the forthcoming elections to avoid such a situation ! - Editor SP) 

Police taking away desecrated Ganesh Idol for immersion

Since last night, the Police have arrested all the main leaders of the Shiv Sena. There was a big question mark about the immersion of Idols. A decision was taken that immersion would be done only after the Police take action against the Muslims. The Police tried to meet the Ganesha Committees and requested them to immerse the Idols. (Such advice by the Police shows that they have neither the wish to take action against Muslims nor are they competent to do so. Tomorrow, if such Policemen are attacked by Muslims, why should Hindus rush to their help ? - Editor SP)

In the meanwhile, Muslims were breaking into the houses of Hindus in groups causing  damage to them. (How can Muslims terrorise Hindus in Bharat which is supposed to be a country with Hindus in majority ? When are Hindus going to create awe for themselves so that no Muslim would dare to even look at a Hindu house ? - Editor SP) First, stones were pelted at the houses of Hindus from a mosque in Kamnves area; at many places, Hindus were beaten up. (The Police were prompt in arresting Shivsainiks but they turned a blind eye to the fanatic uncontrolled Muslims attacking Hindus! - Editor SP)

Responding to the Police appeal, one of the Ganesha committees was taking the Idol for immersion but the Muslims attacked them with swords. (The Police appeal to Hindus to immerse the idols but provide no protection to them. How will Hindus believe a word of the Police in future? - Editor SP) Mr. Anand Jadhav was hit on head with sword; in fact, there were many such incidents going on. Mr. Vipin Deshpande was also attacked with swords.     

The Police try to avoid registering complaints of injured Hindus!

Mr. Anand Jadhav, who got injured in the attack, went to the Police station to lodge a complaint. He was accompanied by Mr. Parashuram Uparkar, a Shiv Sena MLA and Mr. Suresh Kahde, a BJP MLA. But the Police bombarded them with questions and deliberately confused them. (It is the usual practice for the Police to harass Hindus. When the Police behave in such a manner even in the presence of MLAs, how then must they be treating common Hindus ? - Editor SP) Mr. Uparkar confronted the Police and asked them how they could ask such irrelevant and confusing questions although two MLAs were present there. The Police inspector stepped in at that moment and registered the complaint.

Beef thrown near a Maruti Temple !

Muslims threw beef near a Hanuman Temple. Thus enraged Hindus attacked a few mosques. Few chadars from the mosques were burnt. Furious Hindus damaged a vehicle of the son-in-law of MLA, Hafiz Dhatture. 

'Hindu Ekta Andolan's arch re-erected !

Yesterday, Muslims had torn an arch erected by 'Hindu Ekta Andolan', a pro-Hindu organisation. Its members, however, re-erected the same today. On the other hand, the Police stuck a picture of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the arch depicting the scene of the killing of Afzal Khan. Police Superintendent, Krushnsprakash was meeting Ganesha committees since 3.00 p.m. and telling them that politics had percolated down to even the immersions and that Police protection would be provided for immersion. (When the Congress Govt. and the Police Department are playing politics by not taking action against the impudent Muslims, the Police superintendent is not even ashamed to admit it to the Hindus! - Editor SP). Many members of the Ganesha committees were angry.

Re-erect the arch depicting the slaying of Afzal Khan and take action against the idol-breakers - demand devout Hindus

The Administration should put back the picture depicting the scene of slaying of Afzal Khan on the arch in Shrikant Chowk. Take action against those who were dancing with green flags on the top of the vehicle of the Police Superintendent. Take immediate action against those who damaged Ganesha idols, these were the demands made by devout Hindus in a meeting. It has also been decided that until the above demands are not met, immersion processions would not be taken out, even if it were to last up to an entire  year.

Additional Inspector General of Police belittles photographers

The media persons were this time the target of Mr. Ashok Dheevare, the IGP of Kolhapur zone. Although the Police had invited the members of Ganesha committees to the Police station for a meeting, Dheevare tried to disperse them. (What do such Police officers think of themselves, do they own the public ? - Editor SP) He snatched a camera from a photographer and admonished him. He was quite rude even with the journalists and asked them to push off. He told them, "You do your jobs sitting in your offices and let us do our jobs. We will give you the details in the night. Do not roam around on the roads." The journalists have openly protested against his statements.  

Highlights

1. Police barged into the houses of many innocent Hindus from Shastri Chowk, Annabhau Sathenagar, Nadives, Vairan Bazar areas and brutally beat them up. The furious womenfolk went to the Police station and cried out loudly at the Police station which was very heart-breaking.
2. Mr. Suresh Awati, a municipal corporator along with a few elected representatives of people confronted the Police for beating innocent Hindus
3. Police protection was provided to all mosques for all 24 hours but there was no such protection for Hindu temples. Many committee members were making their own security arrangements for the idols.

Impotency of the police - bowing before Muslims and beating unarmed Hindus !

Police, who have two different set of rules for Hindus and Muslims, cannot do justice to the citizens! 

Anti-Hindu police take no action against stone-pelters since they are Muslims and on the contrary, target Hindus

On seeing the big arch depicting the scene of slaying of Afzal Khan, yesterday, Muslims started riots at Miraj. They have denigrated idols of Sree Ganesha, hoisted a green flag on the vehicle of the District Police Chief. Thus, in general, they have crossed all the limits. We reproduce below for our readers some of the news compiled by other newspapers which will make them realise the present situation of the Nation and Dharma. 
  
The District Police Chief is responsible for riots, rather than keeping the Muslims under control, he is more interested in giving speeches

The Police Department made an appeal to the youth from the minority community. An attempt was made to reduce the tension; but the crowd paid no heed to the appeal made by Krushna Prakash. He kept on talking for 45 minutes; but nobody seriously listened to him or even took note of his speech. (Dainik Pratidhvani, 3rd September 2009, Page 1)

Muslims did not care even for Mohandas Gandhi; So what is Krushna Prakash going to do? Muslims immediately give a proof of the same by starting riots.

Speech created problems 
  
Mirajkars were put into trouble by the speech and show of by DSP Krushna Prakash. He was talking nearly for 45 minutes near the arch of Hindu Ekata on peace. The fanatics took no notice of his speech. There were only a few members of the minority community present for his talk. If Krushna Prakash would have driven them out at that time, the disaster that took place later could have been avoided. But the DSP was busy giving speeches and flying 'peace' balloons; this is what is being alleged. (Dainik Pratidhvani, 3/9/09, page 1)   

Such a DSP who helps to bring the Muslims together is responsible for the riots. Hindus must follow up with the matter untill he has to step down from his post. 

DSP folds his hands !

DSP Krushnaprakash, who brags about beating up miscreants, became so helpless before the riots that he folded his hands before the crowd to request them to maintain peace. Instead, he should have taken out his stick. When the DSP was bowing before them, the fanatic youth exhibited their hidden audacity by climbing on his vehicle and flying green flags. As stone-pelting began, the DSP left the place. More police force was deployed but Krushna Prakash was just helplessly watching the turn of events rather than weilding his stick.  (Dainik Pratidhvani, 3/9/09, page 4)  
 
How can such a DSP, who become helpless and forgets to take lawful action against Muslims, bring the riots under control? A DSP, who bow’s before Muslims, is very harsh when it comes to beating Hindus. This once again emphasises the importance of Hindus unity.    

The Police turn a blind eye towards Muslims

As the Muslims started pelting stones, the common citizens were also caught along with the police. The angry policemen instead of punishing the offenders beat up the citizens who were just standing there and watching the incident. (Ref: Dainik Rashtrageet, 3/9/09, page 1)

Policemen, who do not take action against the stone throwing mob just because they are Muslims, and target innocent Hindus, are anti-Hindus ! 

Childish statement by DSP

The DSP made a statement that it was a ploy to malign his name and thus made a fool of himself. (Dainik Mahasatta, 3/9/09, page 2)

What is the use of such DSP who instead of trying to bring the situation under control, is misleading citizens by passing such statements?

Administration not bothered about Hindus

Police DIG Dheevare and District Collector Shyam Vardhane held discussions with Hindus in Miraj when MLA Suresh Khade and members like Bajarang Patil demanded to lodge a complaint against the denigration of Sree Ganesha idols; but they were told that first care should be taken to bring the situation under control by the Administration  (Dainik Janapravas, 3/9/09 - page 1)

What is the use of such policemen who shy away when in front of Muslims?

Due to the sudden stone pelting started by Muslims, Krushna Prakash lost his cool and went to his vehicle and started instructing his officers and policemen (Dainik Punyanagari - 3/9/09 - page 4)

Promptness of police!

On failing to nab the miscreants, police promptly removed a picture from the historical arch of Shiv Sena. (Ref: Dainik rashtrageet - 3/9/09 - page 1)

Hindus must keep a note of such prompt police at the time of revolution.

As both the groups had come face to face, the situation became quite explosive in Kisan Chowk. DSP Krushna Prakash was appealing to both the groups to maintain peace, few youth from one (Muslim) group were dancing on the vehicle of DSP with green flags. Although there was a big battalion of policemen present near the vehicle, nobody stopped these youth. (Ref. dainik Pudhari, 3/9/09 - page 2)

The Muslim youth flying green flags have shown what they think of not only DSP but also of the Government. It is only due to the mental circumcision of both the Congress parties that Muslims are sure of going scot-free.

Mrs. Sunita More told the reporters that police officers, who were just watching the farce of Muslims dancing on their vehicle, are now trying to save their skin by holding devout Hindus responsible for everything. (Dainik Pratidhvani, 3/3/09- page 4)
 
Krushnaprakash's regime is against Hindus

During the regime of DSP Krushnaprakash, two such incidents have taken place where the sentiments of Hindus have been hurt (Dainik Rashtrageet , 3/9/09 - page 4)

Fanatic youth were denigrating Hindu Deities. The arch erected by Hindu Ekta was damaged. The arch of Akhil Bharatiya Maratha Mahasangha was also pierced and stones were pelted. The minority youth did not stop at that. They pelted stones even at the Ganesha idols installed by Maharana Pratap Ganesha Mandal near Fire Station and another Ganesha in Guruvar Peth. The idol was damaged. This increased the tension making the situation quite explosive. The Police used force when the idol of Sree Ganesha was denigrated near the Fire Station. 'Puja' was performed and the idol was shifted for immersion. The members of the Maharana Pratap Ganesha Mandal who resolved to perform 'puja' only after the culprits were nabbed, were dispersed by the police by charging them with lathis. Miraj (Maharashtra): The Shiv Sena erected a large scene of ‘Afzal Khan being killed by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’ in Shrikant Square. In the afternoon, Muslims took objection to this scene and started to close in around it in groups. (This is nothing but a planned attack on Hindus by Afzal Khan’s Muslim descendants. Now Hindus need to become the warriors of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to repel such attacks ! – Editor SP)

Welcome screen of 'Hindu Ekata Andolan' damaged by rioting Muslims

Then Muslims damaged the ‘Welcome Screen’ erected by Hindu Ekata Andolan (Hindu Unity Movement) and desecrated the Ganesh Idol of Maharana Pratap Mandal by using sticks and stones. (O Hindus, Muslim are so sure that ‘No one will take action against us under this Congress regime, no matter how we act against Hindus’. Also the Anti-Hindu media channels will not dare to broadcast the truth of what really happens in such riots for the Hindus to take cognizance of the reality that surrounds them. To change this situation, it is the need of the hour to boycott the Congress Government in the forthcoming elections ! – Editor SP) Then Muslims desecrated various Ganesh Idols in Guruvar Peth, Fort Area and some other parts of the city and proved their Anti-Hindu nature. (O Hindus, stop these Idol breaking Muslims today itself or else tomorrow they will emboldened and sufficiently encouraged to break your heads. Muslims have a very long history of repeatedly desecrating Idols ! – Editor SP)

The Police had shown resistance to the idea of the Shiv Sena using the scene of Afzal Khans killing in Shrikant square. (Why should Hindus pay taxes for the upkeep of such a lily livered Police force? – Editor SP) Shiv Sena leader MLA Mr. Diwakar Ravate declared that this scene would be erected when he was touring Sangli District. Shiv Sena activists completed all the administrative procedures, took police permission & erected the scene.

Muslims started to at the venue of the scene from 8 AM in the morning. (This proves the alertness of Muslims about the issues related to their religion! – Editor SP) Many Muslims took photographs of the image of Afzal Khan’s killing. Fanatic Muslims started to gather together around the scene by 12 noon. (Hindus must learn from Muslims actions to have such zeal for their religion ! – Editor SP) Many slogans were also heard from nearby Mosques. (Art of Pressurisation by Muslims! – Editor SP)

Then many Muslim groups started to go towards Shrikant Square. There Hindus came face to face with the Muslims. District Police chief Mr. Krushna Prakash was appealing to all to keep the peace from his Police vehicle. (If Hindus would have came outside in groups like Muslims, the Police would have immediately arrested them ! – Editor SP) But Muslims continued their demand to remove Afzal Khan’s killing scene from that spot. (Due to appeasement of Muslims by Congress & its Police Department, Muslims have become so aggressive! – Editor SP)

Muslims pelting stones towards Hindus & Police

Some Muslims even tried to host a Green Flag from the stage of the Hindu Ganesh Mandal. (O Hindus, do we live in Hindu majority India or Muslim majority Pakistan? – Editor SP) In reaction to this act, Hindu tried to host Saffron Flag. But Muslims started heavy stone pelting. They damaged the pundol erected for the ‘Welcome Screen’ of Hindu Ekata Andolan (Hindu Unity Movement). Then Muslims desecrated the Ganesh Idol of Maharana Pratap Ganesh Mandal.

Muslim MLA Hafiz Dhatture tried to stop rioting Muslims, but Muslims attacked him & other Police officials present there. A group of 5-6 Muslims attacked single policeman with sticks & stones. (Police, now you only have to suffer due to the intolerable appeasement of Muslims. For so long the Police have suppressed Hindus, but now they have to suffer as a result of their mistakes ! – Editor SP)

In the afternoon, Hindus also came onto the roads to resist the Muslims. Stone pelting continued from both sides. So Police started a lathicharge & used tear gas to disperse the rioting people.

Anti-Hinduism of the Police!

The Police arrested the Shiv Sena & other Pro-Hindu leaders stating the reason of ‘Code of conduct’ (Achar Sanhita). (Had the Police forgotten their Code of conduct, when Muslims were going towards Afzal Khan’s killing scene in groups? The Police make use of such reasons only to suppress. If tomorrow Muslims attack such a Police force for being ‘Kafirs’, then why should Hindus save them from Muslims? – Editor SP) Then the Police removed the Afzal Khan killing scene at around 5.15 P.M.

In the mean time rioters dispersed, but Muslims were attacking Hindus at many places. They damaged Pandols (Mandap) erected for the Ganesh Festival in Guruvar Peth & Fort area. They were attacking any Hindu that came before them. Muslims also desecrated Three Ganesh Idols.

Highlights

•    All the shops in the city were shut down after the Stone pelting.
•    The Police had to rope in the ‘Special Task force’ & ‘Reserved State Police Force’ to control the situation.
•    Many Police were present in Shrikant Square, but they ignored the Hindu lady’s complaint of attack on Hindus by Muslims.
•    One Tata Sumo of the Police, one Tata Indica of a citizen & another four wheeler were damaged by the rioting Muslims.
•    Mayor Mainuddin Bagwan & MLA Sudhir Khade visited the place after the removal of the scene of Afzal Khan’s killing.

The Police threatened Hindus who were not ready for Ganesh Idol Immersion due to Idol desecration!

Activists of Maharana Pratap Ganesh Mandal refused to immerse desecrated Idols of Sree Ganesh. So the Police attacked them inhumanly with a lathicharge. (The Police do not take action against Muslims, as Muslims burn Police personnel. As Hindus do not treat the Police in that way, Hindus have to suffer from Police attack ! – Editor SP)

At this time Hindu ladies started shouting recklessly seeing the lathicharge on Hindus. (What is the use of such useless shouting ? Hindu ladies must also act according to the situation, as do Muslim ladies ! – Editor SP) Then Police covered the desecrated Ganesh Idol & took the Idol away in their vehicle, for immersion.

Assistant Election officer Dr. Vikas Kharat said, “We are scrutinizing Shiv Sena’s completion of all procedures.  We will take a decision after it.”

The Shiv Sena’s Ladies wing chief , Mrs. Sunita More, demanded the arrest of Muslims who desecrated Ganesh Idols & destroyed the Welcome scenes of Hindus. (Now Hindus do not expect such demands only to be made by the Shiv Sena. Instead the Hindus want the Shiv Sena to take action so that such a riot will take place in future ! – Editor SP)
