RSS and Hindu Mahasabha need to re-establish complementary relations for the sake of welfare of the Nation

Mumbai: Shri. Dinesh Sitaram Bhogale, the chief coordinator of Hindu Mahasabha has written a letter to Shri. Mohan Bhagawat, Sarsanghchalak, RSS to the effect that “Many members like me feel that there is a need to re-establish the cordial and complementary relations nurtured by first Sarsanghchalak Dr. Hedgewar and Swatantryaveer Savarkar, the leader of Hindu Mahasabha. It is very much essential from the viewpoint of welfare and benefit of the nation.”

In this letter, Shri. Bhogale writes further, “You reiterated the concept of ‘Hindu Nation’ when you took over the post of Sarsanghchalak. I am thankful to you for the same. Till 1940, the relations between RSS and Hindu Mahasabha were very cordial. But it will not be helpful to ignore the situation created in Hindustan during the following six decades owing to lack of unity among these two organizations. Some of those opposing Hinduism seceded from the party on the issue of ‘a non-Indian’ and formed a new party. People, who had made accusations against each other, got together within no time, forgetting all their differences. When anti-Hindu elements are becoming stronger in this manner, it is very sad that even after six decades, nobody is thinking about protecting interests of Hindus.”

Shri. Bhogale has sought an appointment with Shri. Bhagavat to discuss this matter in detail and it has been mentioned in the letter that the office bearers of the organizations can also participate. (Will Sarsanghchalak respond positively to this letter for the sake of Hindu unity or continue the tradition of hating Hindu Mahasabha? – Editor SP)
