Dharamgaon (Maharashtra): Maulavis have issued anti-social ‘fatwa’ to convert Hindu girls and collect Rs.200/- for the same. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), in this connection, submitted a representation to the tehsildar demanding an in depth enquiry into the scheme announced by fanatic Muslims for implementation of ‘fatwa’ in the district so also to take steps for protection of Hindu girls and provide security to those Hindu girls and their family members who have fallen prey to Muslims’ ploy.

It has been mentioned in the representation that recently, an incident of few fanatic Muslims abducting a Hindu girl has been brought to light in Jalgaon. Even earlier, such incidents have taken place in Sambhajinagar, Latur and Parbhani districts. So the Government should take the matter seriously.

The representation was submitted in the presence of S/Shri. Janakiram Patil, ZP member of Shiv Sena, Subhash Patil, a BJP member of Panchayat Samiti, Sachin Yewale, Paresh Chaudhary, Swapnil Kulkarni coordinators of HJS and Vinod Shinde of Sanatan Sanstha along with more than 30 devout Hindus.
