Baseless allegations by Saurabh Lotlikar refuted in press conference held at Goa

Panjim (Goa) : Yesterday Saurabh Lotlikar of Ramnath Yuva Sangh from Bandora, Ponda demanded to close down Sanatan Ashram within 7 days and made similar baseless allegations on Sanatan. Now-a-days there is a trend to defame Sanatan to gain publicity and Saurabh Lotlikar is trying to gain political mileage out of this. This may be due to his political ambitions. Sanatan Sanstha’s activities are carried out in constitutional manner. It is spreading Hindu Dharma through weekly satsangs, Balsanskar clasees and Holy texts on spirituality. Sanatan Sanstha’s work supports Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s work of uniting different sects and Hindu organisations. Sanatan carries out activities related to social welfare and awakening nation. There has not been a single incident when law and order was endangered due to Sanatan Ashram. Hence the demand to ban Sanatan Sanstha is itself unconstitutional. The Indian Constitution has given every individual the freedom to relocate. Hence people like Lotlikar, who are making such demands are anti-democratic. These were the views expressed by Sanatan Prabhat periodical group’s former editor Dr. Durgesh Samant. He was speaking in press conference organised by Sanatan Sanstha at Hotel Rajdhani, Panjim, Goa.

At this time, Shiv Sena’s former Goa chief Shri. Ramesh Naik, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s Goa coordinator Dr. Manoj Solanki, Social activist and devout Hindu Shri. Mahesh Parkar were also present. The press conference was even attended by villagers Shri. Narsimha Naik, Shri. Gurudas Naik etc. living in the vicinity of Sanatan Ashram.

If Saurabh Lotlikar really wants that action should be taken against the immoral activities carried in Goa, then how many times has he protested against illegal activities going on in Goa’s massage parlours, casinos and rave parties ? Sanatan Sanstha’s seekers compelled many casinos to take down obscene hoardings displayed by them. Sanatan also opposed upcoming ‘Playboy Club’ which would have destroyed Goa’s culture. It is a conspiracy to defame organisation like Sanatan that is striving to preserve our culture and its masterminds are using Saurabh Lotlikar. Saurabh Lotlikar is making false allegations based on incomplete information he has about Sanatan Ashram. He doesn’t even know that many highly educated doctors are living in Sanatan Ashram and provide medical aid and medicines to unwell seekers. Sanatan has also organised medical camps at hundreds of places for free of cost. For this purpose, medicines and other equipments are ordered. Sanatan Sanstha provides guidance on how to practice spirituality while living a family life. Hence, there are many married couples living in Sanatan Ashram and what is wrong if they use contraceptive medicines for family planning ? When on one side Govt. itself is spending crores of rupees on official advertisements of these medicines, objecting this is very surprising ! This is not the first time that Saurabh lotlikar has made these allegations against Sanatan. These statements by him date back to 2009 and it should be noted that investigation agencies had proved these allegations baseless.
