Sangli : Representation submitted against Valentine’s Day

Sangli (Maharashtra) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) submitted a representation to Shri. Sanjay Shinde, the Dy. District Collector on 9th February with various demands like defining of the word minority, passing of ‘Uniform Civil Code’ and prevention of malpractices taking place in the name of ‘Valentine’s Day’ on 14th February.

Shri. Shrikrushna Mali of Shri. Shiva-pratishthan, Shri. Pravin Kavathekar, Editor of ‘Lok-jagar’, Shri. Jitendra Shah of Shiv Sena, Shri. Dattatreya Retharekar of HJS and Shri. Chandrashekhar Pattanshetty of Sanatan Sanstha were present on the occasion.
