Mumbai (Maharashtra) :
There are two religions in India, Islam and Christian; followers of which have an intense political desire to establish control over the sentiments of Indians. Pakistan was the result of ignoring this desire and now, in North-Eastern India, movement of converting Hindus to Christianity is gaining eminence. Allowing ‘Islamization’ or ‘Christianization’ of this country will be like betraying 5000 years old history of this country and the great people who created that history; therefore, it is the birth right of Hindus in this country to know the religion followed by the person who is aspiring to become a Prime Minister of this country, stated Mr. Arvind Vitthal Kulkarni, a senior journalist while addressing Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha organized by Hindu Janjagruti Samiti (HJS) on Sunday, 24th April in the hall of VKS English Medium School in Vikroli.   He was speaking in connection with the recent Court decision that Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi cannot be forced to declare their religion under the ‘Right to information (RTI)’. Instead of taking shield of this verdict, Soniaji and Rahul should take the people of this country into confidence and disclose the religion followed by them, appealed Mr. Kulkarni.

Regarding the anti-corruption agitation undertaken by Anna Hazare, he said, “We love our parents without any expectations and it is natural and we should have similar affection towards our country also. The nationalism followed by the Congress, however, does not inspire the people to have such love for the country. In fact, the country has become like a charitable house that everyone is trying to rob. In its first ever conference held by Congress which was established in 1885, it had carried out collective political conversion of Hindus; but this has not been still realized by Hindus and this is the root cause of all problems. Muslims have refused to accept Hindi nationalism; therefore, Hindus have to hold such meetings to declare that they are not only Hindus by birth but they are Hindus politically and they want to establish Hindu Nation. Hindu nationalism teaches to love one’s motherland and is a perfect remedy on corruption.

Mr. Satish Sonar of HJS presented an overview of HJS activities in the beginning of the ‘sabha’. Mr. Ajay Sambhus of HJS and Mr. Rajendraprasad Bhogale of Sanatan Sanstha also addressed the ‘sabha’ which was attended by more than 200 devout Hindus.

Mr. Baba Manjrekar, the Trustee of Saidham Mandir and Mr. Tavji Gorule, Shiv Sena councilor attended the ‘sabha’. A follow up meeting will be held on Thursday 28th April at Sree Ambamata Sarvajanik Mandir, near Shiv Sena ‘Shakha’ No. 113, Tagore Nagar, Vikroli (East) at 8.00 p.m. to decide further course of action.

Highlights

  • The world famous Saint H. H. Satya Saibaba, who recently left his gross body, was paid homage in the ‘sabha’.
