Secular Govt. time and again targets only Hindu temples

Why are notices for registering temples as commercial establishments, issued only to Hindus’ places of worship? – Mr. Eknath Khadase, BJP MLA

Mumbai: The Urban Development, Labour Departments and Municipal Corporations are issuing notices only to Hindu ‘Devasthana’ to submit data whether they are registered under the Shops and Establishments Act as commercial establishments. Such notice is not being issued to mosques or churches leading to generating discontent among Hindus. Why such injustice is done only to Hindus? The above question was asked by Mr. Eknath Khadase, the Opposition leader in the Legislative Assembly. (Temples are the sources extending divine energy to Hindus. Those are not commercial centres to earn profit. The Government has very badly insulted religious sentiments of Hindus by issuing such notice to temples. How much ever one condemns the Government for the same, will not be enough ! – Editor SP)

Mr. Khadase said, “Certain information about the ‘Devasthana’ like total employees, their tenure, sources of income of the ‘Devasthana’, annual income and expenditure, whether Auditor’s report is submitted, facilities extended to the devotees, whether the ‘Devasthana’ is private or managed by the Government has been asked in the notice.” Today, BJP MLA Mr. Mangalprabhat Lodha first raised this issue. He said, “The temples are first of all, not undertaking any commercial activity. Such notices are not issued to Wakf Boards. Stall such notices. Meeting should be organized of the representatives of temples and action should be taken after resolving the matter amicably.” (It has been proved time and again that wherever the temples have been taken over by the Government, their management is anti-Hindu and corrupt. Instead of taking action against this context, the secular Government has issued new notices to all temples and is harassing them ! – Editor SP) Labour Minister Hasan Mushrif said, “There is no information on the issue; but if such notices have been issued, I immediately ask to withdraw such notices. .” (The notice issued by Labour Ministry is known to the people from opposition parties but Labour Minister is not aware of it. What kind of governance is this? Or is he trying to fool others ? – Editor SP) The Chairman of LA,  Mr. Dilip Valse-Patil directed the Government to find the facts, cancel all notices and not create disharmony among people.
