I will work for protection of Hindu Dharma for the whole of my life ! – Mr. Ramesh Shinde

While replying to his honour, Mr. Ramesh Shinde said, “If the society has to be kept alive, somebody has to sacrifice and if I am getting such opportunity, I consider it as my good fortune. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Swatantrayveer Savarkar were never conferred with any awards. Once Savarkar had said on this subject that – ‘people gave me the titles like ‘Hindu-rhuday-samrat’ (King of the hearts of Hindus) and ‘Swatantryaveer’ which are the most valuable for me.’  I will try to strive for protection of Hindu Dharma all through my life.” While emphasizing the need for Hindu unity, he said, “It is a speciality of Hindu Dharma that there are 33 crores of Deities. If we strive hard forgetting our differences, caste and creed, the flag of Hindu Dharma can fly once again all over the world. ‘Dharmashikshan’ and unity are most essential to fight back serious problems like conversions by Christians and ‘love jihad’.”

HJS website’s progress

Regarding the website of HJS, Mr. Shinde said, “HJS website stands at 13th place among 6.5 crores websites within 3 years of its creation. Every month around 1,40,000 people visit this website from 175 countries.” The information was received by the audience with a big round of applause.

Let Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj be an inspiration to work for God, Nation and Dharma ! –  Mr. Rahul Solapurkar

Pimpri (Pune, Maharashtra): The life history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is told for creating an awakening in us. Shivaji Maharaj sowed the seed of Dharma in ‘mawlas’; therefore, the ‘Hindavi Swarajya’ (Hindu Kingdom) could be established. We should take inspiration from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and work for God, Nation and Dharma. The above views were expressed by film actor Mr. Rahul Solapurkar in a program organized on the grounds near ‘Kunal’ Hotel at Kalewadi to confer the ‘Hindu Kulbhshan’ award to Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for the States of Maharashtra and Gujarat. Mr. Rahul Solapurkar addressed the meeting on this occasion as the main speaker. Pandit Dharmaveer Arya, the Executive Director of Hindu Swabhiman Pratishthan; its President Mr. Krushnakumarji Goyal; Mr. Lakshman Jagatap, NCP MLA; Mr. Gajanan Babar, MP of Shiv Sena and a senior historian Mr. Pandurang Balakawade were the other dignitaries sharing the dais with Mr. Solapurkar.

While emphasizing the importance of celebrating ‘Shiv-jayanti’ as per the Hindu calendar, Mr. Solapurkar said, “Celebrating Shiv-jayanti as per the English calendar is an insult of Chhatrapati. The date ‘19th February’ decided by the Government is also totally wrong because there is lot of difference in the English and Gregorian calendars from where this date has been taken. The political parties need to keep aside their differences and review this matter. It is not our culture to celebrate the Day as per the date. Shiv-jayanti has to be celebrated as per ‘tithi’ i.e. the day of Hindu calendar.”

‘Hindu Kulbhushan award’ conferred on Mr. Ramesh Shinde

This award is conferred on behalf of the said ‘Pratishthan’ with the purpose of creating consciousness among Hindus and to such activist who works selflessly for the unity and protection of Hindus. That Hindu activist is conferred ‘Hindu Kulbhushan’ award. This year, the award was conferred to Mr. Ramesh Shinde and was presented by Mr. Krushnakumarji Goyal, the President of the ‘Pratishthan’, Mr. Gajanan Babar, MP and Mr. Lakshman Jagatap, MLA. The award comprises of certain amount in cash, a testimonial, a symbol of honour and a shawl. This is the 9th year since the award was introduced. The program was attended by 1200 devout Hindus.

Highlights

1. Picture depicting the scene of slaying of Afzal Khan was taken away by the police two hours before the program was to start, giving the reason that it would hurt sentiments of the minority; but the organizers again put it up during the program. (Police take prompt action even when there is no complaint if it involves hurting sentiments of minority; but no action is taken against M F Husain who has drawn indecent paintings of Hindu Deities hurting religious sentiments of Hindus despite more than 1200 complaints have been lodged with different police stations. Is this really a secular country? – Editor SP)
