Chopda : Hindus perform ‘abhihsek’ on the idol of Shivaji Maharaj with milk

Chopda : On 15th March, birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was celebrated as per the ‘tithi (Hindu calendar)’. ‘Abhishek’ with milk was performed over the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Chhatrapati Shivaji Chowk on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Swarajya Nirman Sena. Shri. Anil Patil of HJS did such ‘abhishek’ with milk in the morning, followed with ‘abhishek’ with water. ‘Puja’ was performed under the guidance of Vivek Maharaj as per the science. The statue was then garlanded and ‘aarti’ of Shivaraya was sung. Shri. Ashok Patil, Shri. Bhalchandra Rajput, Shri. Kishore Dusane, Shri. Digambar Mali of HJS and Shri. Sunil Sonagire of ‘Swarajya Nirman Sena’ was present on the occasion along with many patrons of Shivaji Maharaj.
