Women should be granted right to give death sentence to rapists : ‘Pujya’ Bhide Guruji

Lecture during the month observed in commemoration of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s sacrifice

Satara : The present situation is similar to what was happening during Mughal regime. The rulers are indifferent towards incidents of rape. Women should be granted right to give death sentence to rapist within 12 hours, demanded ‘Pujya’ Sambhajirao Bhideguruji, the Founder of ‘Shri Shivpratishthan Hindustan’ while addressing a program organized to commemorate ‘Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Balidaan Month’.  More than 700 devout Hindus from Satara District attended the program.

He said further, “Ignorance by Hindus can be a warning bell. The imminent period is going to be full of strife and Saints and seers have also commented on the same. Shiva Chhatrapati and his son spent their life facing problems. Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj was tortured for a month before he was killed; but these things are forgotten by Hindus today. Had Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj not sacrificed his life, Hindus would have become extinct. We shall therefore, take oath that we would also be always ready to protect Bharatmata like Shiva Chhatrapati, father and son duo. Shri Shivpratishthan will undertake campaigns necessary for protection of nation; such as capital punishment for those slaughtering cows; taking out march to Mantralaya by uniting women in Maharashtra to demand ban on liquor; re-establishment of golden throne of Shiva Chhatrapati weighing 3200 kgs at Raigad etc.

Highlights : Blood donation drive was held on the occasion. Hundreds of Dharkaris spontaneously participated in this drive.
