Jalgaon: HJS demands construction of Veer Savarkar statue at France

Jalgaon (Maharashtra): For the past 11 years, the French Government has been demanding with the Indian Government to construct a memorial of Swa. Savarkar at Marseilles Port; but Indian Government has taken no concrete steps in the matter. A memorandum was submitted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to the District Collector yesterday in this regard.

Mr. Mohan Tiwari, the Zonal-chief of Shiv Sena, Mr. Sharad Chavan of ‘All -India Students Council’ and Mr. Sumit Sagavekar of HJS were present on the occasion. Similar demand received from six other zones and several signatures in support of the demand were enclosed to the memorandum.
