Puttur : Representation submitted by HJS to Tehasildar

Puttur (Karnataka) : A representation was submitted on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to Tehasildar Gargi Jain at Puttur, Karnataka demanding prevention of misbehaviour observed on the occasion of Valentine Day. If programs like ‘Matru-Pitru Din’ are held, they not only teach youth to pay respect and love towards parents but also help in putting curb on social problems created under influence of modernity. It is therefore, necessary to encourage organization of programs like ‘Matru-Pitru Din’ adhering to Government rules. A representation was therefore, submitted to create awareness amongst young generation. The Tehasildar promised to take necessary action.
