Banish ‘Valentine Day’ which is attacking Indian culture : Sou. Nayana Bhagat

Demonstrations staged by Ranaragini Division at Ghatkopar for creating awareness amongst people

Ghatkopar (Mumbai) : Today’s youth actually need to learn ideology of revolutionaries, when practices like ‘Valentine Day’ as celebrated under western culture are trying to destroy young generation of India. In the background of Valentine Day, there is hideous exhibition of one-sided love affairs, incidents of teasing young girls leading to violence are taking place; therefore, instead of falling prey to the conspiracy of foreign countries like celebration of ‘Valentine Day’ to  destroy ancient Indian culture, youth should come forward to protect Indian culture. This appeal was made by Sou. Nayana Bhagat of Ranaragini Division during demonstrations staged for creating awareness amongst people. It was also followed with signature drive undertaken on the occasion.

Views expressed by patriots participating in demonstrations

1. Kum. Mrunal Bhagat, college student : Youth should understand Indian culture and abide by it.

2. Dr. (Kum) Jagruti Gulati : Valentine Day is against Indian culture. In present times, youth must choose what is necessary for their welfare rather than falling prey to materialism.

3. Kum. Komal Pawar : The drive undertaken by Ranaragini is really commendable. One remembers Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi by looking at Ranaraginis.
