Hindus give representations to schools, colleges against celebration of Valentine Day

Virar : There has been considerable increase in the incidents of one-sided love affairs and teasing of girls under the guise of Valentine Day during past few years. Media, social websites, films and TV channels are giving undue importance to Valentine Day which is causing adverse effect on teenagers leading to inciting sexual feelings amongst children at immature age.

Devout Hindus viz. Shri. Shivacharan Yadav, Rakesh Kanojia, Dasharath Vagari, Sunny Rajput, Aniket Chavan, Roshan Jha and Ashish Chaudhary came together and decided to contact schools for creating awareness amongst students towards this  western Day  which is attacking Indian culture. They contacted schools and colleges and submitted representation prepared by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) regarding Valentine Day. They visited Utkarsh Vidyalaya; Zilha Parishada school; Virar Pashchidam; M G M High School; Viva College; National High School; Vidyamandir School;  St. Peter’s High School; N G V High School, Mulji Mehta International School, Vidyavihar High School, Adarsh Vidyalaya; Shastri Vidyalaya, Fr. Angels High School in Virar.
