HJS participates in Shivjayanti programs held at Sambhajinagar and Nagar

Sambhajinagar : On 19th February, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) took part in different programs organized at Saigaon, Brahmi and Avaghad Pimpri in Nagar District on the occasion of Shivjayanti.

Saigaon

Statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was taken in a procession with much fanfare through the village; followed with devout advocate Shankar Jadhav lighting lamp and offering flowers over the statue. Shri. Kishore Jagatap of HJS spoke on the topic of ‘Shaurya jagaran’ and advocate Shankar Jadhav spoke on the topic of biography of Shivaji Maharaj and ideal Hindu Rashtra; guiding 100 participating devout Hindus.

Highlights

1. Importance of celebrating Shiva Jayanti as per the ‘tithi’ was explained to the participants when they promised to take action on the same, from the next year.

2. Many people spontaneously wished to join activities related to Hindu Rashtra.

Brahmi gaon

‘Shivjayanti Utsav Committee’, Brahmi took out a procession on the occasion of Shivjayanti festival when the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was taken in the procession. The ballads composed by ‘Shivapratishthan Hindustan’ were played during the procession. The procession was concluded with singing of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s ‘aarti’ by Shri. Nagesh Joshi of HJS; followed with singing of ‘Shaurya-geet’ by a little devout Hindu. Shri. Joshi spoke about the mission undertaken by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his bravery and demanded that Maharaj’s statue should be installed at the Parliament House. The program was attended by more than 250 devout Hindus and was concluded with the song ‘Shivarayanche athavave roop…’

Highlights  

Every year, during the procession taken by Shivjayanti Utsav Committee, indecent film songs used to be played on loudspeakers. Many participants used to have liquor and dance in the procession which was improper way of celebrating Shivjayanti but this year, it was celebrated as mentioned above. Avaghad Pimpri

Shivjayanti was celebrated on behalf of ‘Maratha Ekikaran Samiti’ keeping ‘Dharma-dhvaj’ in front in the procession and carrying statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj playing traditional musical instruments. Kum. Priyanka Lone of HJS and Shri. Arun Thanage of ‘Shivapratishthan Hindustan’ participated in the program. Kum. Lone explained about love jihad, conversions, communalism and attacks on Hindu Dharma to more than 300 Shivaji-patrons attending the program.

Highlights      

DJ loudspeakers used to be taken for the Shivjayanti procession taken out every year but this year, traditional musical instruments were played. The local Hindu residents said after listening to the topics explained by Kum. Priyanka Lone, that they would change the name of their organization from ‘Maratha Ekikaran Samiti’ to ‘Hindu Ekikaran Samiti’.
