Another Jijau is required for Shivaji Maharaj to take birth again : Sumit Sagavekar

Different drives organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti on the occasion of Shivajayanti

Navi Mumbai : Many people express wish due to the present pathetic condition of Hindus that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj should be born again but for that to happen, another Jijau has to be there. When Jijau was pregnant, she used to feel like going to battle field carrying bow and arrow, win over forts, ride on tiger etc; therefore, a brave and great king like Shivaraya was born to her. The present day women however, are interested in equality for men-women, entry in temple sanctums and wearing short clothes. Today, no woman says that she wants to bear a child like Shivaba. Shivaji Maharaj will not take birth again till women’s way of thinking doesn’t change, stated Shri. Sumit Sagavekar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) while addressing a program on biography of Shivaji held on the occasion of Shivajayanti festival in Sector 7, Koparkhairane by Dnyaneshwar Mauli Owners’ Association. Shri. Yogesh More and Shri. Surendra Bhosale, Navi Mumbai Coordinators of this Association had organized program on Shivajayanti for the first time this year and took out ‘Shiva-Jyot’ in procession and held lecture on biography of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Shri. Sumit Sagavekar explained the importance of celebrating Shiva Jayanti as per ‘tithi’.
