Success of Ranaragini : Obscene advertisement by ‘Calvin Klein Jeans’ removed from ‘Mall-de-Goa’

Panaji : In front portion of ‘Mall-de-Goa’ at Parvari, a board with obscene picture of ‘Calvin Klein Jeans’ was displayed by the Company; but it was removed by the manager of the Mall. A delegation of Ranaragini Division met Shri. Bhuvan Shet, Director of the Mall on 3rd January and demanded to remove the advertisement.

Director Shet listened to the explanation given by delegation of Ranaragini Division and then promised to remove the board after having discussions with the officers of ‘Calvin Klein Jeans’. (Congratulations to Director Bhuvan Shet of ‘Mall-de-Goa’ for removing indecent advertisement board after listening to women ! – Editor, Hindujagruti) Sou. Rajashree Gadekar of ‘Ranaragini’, Sou. Shubha Sawant of Sanatan Sanstha and Shri. Prakash Malik of Hindu Janajgruti Samiti (HJS) met Director Bhuvan Shet in this context. It was stated in the representation that ‘Goa is known as the land of Parashuram; but such indecent advertisements were polluting the atmosphere of Goa and it is a conspiracy to make Goa into a land of only materialism. The obscene advertisement has hurt sentiments of women.’
