Miraj : Awareness created by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) regarding national flags is most commendable. Rather than giving representations, action is required in the matter. We will make ten big- size flex banners on Flag Code of India and take out a huge procession through the city creating awareness on the subject, stated Dr. Vikas Kharat, zonal officer of Miraj on receiving representation from HJS. (Other administrative officers should also follow footsteps of this zonal officer who took prompt action on realizing the importance of subject related to national flags ! – Editor, Hindujagruti)

The zonal officer said further, “I will call the education officer. If all of us make efforts, it will surely make a difference. People will also develop good habits.” The officer then gave his cell number. Similar representation was submitted to even Tehasildar of Miraj. Shri. Chidambar Karakal, Dr. (Smt.) Mrunalini Bhosale, Kum. Surekha Acharya, Sou. Ratna Bhangale, Sou. Chorage, Sou. Kukade and Sou. Nayana Joshi of Shri Shivapratishthan were present on the occasion.

Dy. Zonal police officer Nikhil Pingale receiving representation from ‘Hindutvavadis’

Pandharpur (Dist. Solapur) : A representation was submitted on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to the dy. Zonal police officer Nikhil Pingale on 17th January 2017, demanding preservation of honour of national flags and filing of cases against sellers of plastic national flags on the occasion of Republic Day. Shri. Ganesh Lanke of ‘Peshava Yuva Manch’, Shri. Pratapsingh Salunkhe, area-Chief of Shri Shivapratishthan Hindustan and its other activist viz. Shri. Saurabh Thite- Patil, Shri. Balkrushna Dingare, city-President of ‘Hindu Mahasabha’, Shri. Ravindra Sale, Shri. Rameshwar Kore and Shri. Vishwanath Mundhewadikar from VHP; Bajarang Dal’s city-Chief Sunil Babar, HJS’ volunteers Shri. Shashishekhar Patil and Shri. Shlok Patil; besides other ‘Hindutvavadis’ were present on the occasion.

Awareness will be created amongst people holding meetings at nooks and corners ! – Police Inspector

Gadhinglaj (Dist. Kolhapur) : A representation was submitted on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to Shri. Shashikant Killedar and Police Inspector (PI) Bipin Hasabnis, for prevention of abuse of national flags taking place on the occasion of Republic Day.  PI Hasabnis said that meetings would be held in different areas on 25th January for creating awareness amongst people. Shiv Sena city-Chief Shri. Sagar Kurade, Shri. Manoj Powar, Shri. Vasant Naik, Dy. Sarpanch Shri. Pandurang Hazare of Badyachyawadi, Shri. Kashinath Gadkari, Shri. Raju Powar, Shri. Mallikarjuna Desai, Shri. Dayanand Davane and Shri. Ajit Dhulaj of HJS were present on the occasion.
