Swami Vivekananda and Rajmata Jijabai’s birth anniversary celebrated by Ranaragini

Mangaluru : Birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and Rajmata Jijabai was recently celebrated at Rotary Bal Bhavan, Bondhle on behalf of Ranaragini Division. Sou. Pramila Ramesh was the Chief Guest of the program.

Sou. Pramila Ramesh said, “Presently, Hindu women need organization like Ranaragini Division. Women need to get trained in self-defence; so also undertake spiritual practice for acquiring God’s grace in present times. Every Hindu woman needs to be like Rajamata Jijabai for protection of self and her family.”

Sou. Asha Gauri spoke about Swami Vivekananda’s contribution and accomplishments. She said that every young man should inculcate principles promoted by Swami Vivekananda and unite for protection of Dharma and nation building. Sou. Lakshmi Pai of Ranaragini Division said, “Jijabai inculcated religious ‘sanskars’ in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj since his childhood; therefore, he could become a brave warrior. We need mothers like Jijamata in present times.”

The program was compeered by Sou. Ankita Kamat. Women from different organizations attended the program.
