Mumbai : Shivpratap Din celebrated enthusiastically by Shivpratishthan

Dharmatej (Glory of religion) manifested through fearless sports, street play based on Afzalkhan’s killing and lectures !

 

Mumbai: The incident of Afzalkhan’s killing is worth writing in golden letters in the history of Maharashtra. Shivrai practically showed to the whole world, how to end terrorism; but the progressive Government ruling before, expelled this historical event from the text books of students not to hurt the religious sentiments of the minorities. The coming generation may not even know about it. Hence with a view to remember the valour of Shivaji Maharaj, Shivpratap Din is being celebrated by ‘Shri Shivpratishthan Hindustan’ on Margashirsha Shukla Paksha Saptami since last 4 years. This year also it was celebrate in Mumbai at Lower Parel, Dahisar and Koparkhairane in Navi Mumbai enthusiastically presenting some mardani sports, lectures and a street play based on Afzalkhan’s killing.

Dahisar (East)

The initiative undertaken by Shri Shivpratishthan, to reach the glorious history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to the society is worth praising said Mrs. Sanjana Ghadi, Maharashtra State Vice-president, Manase while addressing the gathering in a prograame organised at Sambhajinagar area. She also gave her good wished to the organisers.

Mr. Sanjay Ghadi, Chief Secretary of Maharashtra State, Manase worshipped the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and thereafter the rally commenced from Sambhajinagar ground and back to Sambhajinagar. Mr. Balwantrao Dalvi of Shri Shivpratishthan Hindustan, Mumbai was present on the occasion. More than 200 Shiva admirers (Shivpremi) were present there. Mr. Udayrao Pimpale gave information about the ‘Campaign of maintaining Forts’. Many devout Hindus worked hard to make this programme a great success.

Today Hindus are in a pitiable condition, hence all Hindus need to unite in earnest. Programmes like these organised by Shri Shivpratishthan are uniting Hindus in large numbers and also inspire us by awakening our valour. Anti-Hindu police refusing permission to hold the programme !

Initially the local police refused to give permission to hold this programme in Dahisar (E); but later DCP Kirankumar Chavhan gave permission when the organisers contacted him. (Police refusing permission to the law abiding and peace loving Hindus but do not take objection to fanatics’ activities ! Is it not the hatred of the police towards Hindus ? – SP Editor)

Hindus should be fully alert 24 hours about retaining the strategy and valour of Chhatrapri Shivaji Maharaj (Shivniti and Shivpratap)! – Adv. Tukaram Chinchanikar, Shri Shivpratishthan Hindustan

Shivrai’s capacity was spread all over after he killed Afzalkhan. Therefore Aurangzeb never dared to attack Maharashtra in future. It is the need of the hour for Hindus to create such a threat. In order to achieve this temperament we need to maintain the awareness of Shivniti and Shivpratap for 24 hours in our mind. Adv. Tukaram Chinchanikar, Shri Shivpratishthan Hindustan was addressing the gathering assembled on the occasion. More than 100 Shivpremi were present there. Mr. Swapnil Yadav compered. Mr. Chichanikar said further that this attitude of Afzal is still living among some people like Yakub Menon driving away 4 ½ lacs Kashmiri Hindus and Burhan Vani of Kashmir remaining present in the funeral of terrorists. They should be punished using Shivniti.

Why do the Government machineries are scared while demolishing the religious places of other religions ? – Mr. Asmitrao Kondalkar, Shri Shivpratishthan Hindustan

Mavlas well versed in the history only can create history. The hands of Government machineries do not hesitate while destroying Hindu temples; but then why are they scared while demolishing the religious places of other religions ?

Thoughts expressed by other dignitaries

1. Ramnath Mhatre, Navi Mumbai, Mandir samiti : Hindu temples are in great danger today and to save them all Hindus need to unite. We must be brave to face any eventualities to maintain our freedom.

2. Ajayrao Barge, Shri Shivpratishthan Hindustan : We can learn about the life of Shivrai’s mavlas while participating in the campaign of maintaining forts. Therefore all Hindus should join the campaign ‘Panhalgad to Vishalgad via Pavankhind’ to be held in January 2017.

3. Mangesh Mhatre, Hindu Mahasabha : Chapekar brothers had carried Bhagvadgita in the hands while facing the gallows. We also should learn to maintain strength, wisdom and strategy from the Gita and join the ‘Gita Jayanti’ to be held on 10th December on behalf of Hindu organizations.

If not in Maharashtra then where else to show the history of  Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ? – Mr. Yogesh Chile, Hindavi Sena

Rioters get permission to hold a programme on Azad Maidan; but permission is refused for showing the historical event of Afzalkha’s killing. If not in Maharashtra then where else to show the history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ?  asked Mr. Yogesh Chile, while speaking during the concluding session. He also invited people to learn the true history instead of believing the messages on Whats app. Street plays were presents at 4 places in all. More than 500 attended the programme. This gathering also was made aware of the ‘Campaign of maintaining Forts’. Many helped to make the programme a great success.

A garland was offered to the flag and by police and even the picture of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his weapons were worshipped by police. In this programme various mardani sports were held, a street play based on the killing of Afzalkhan was presented. They also recited the Dhyey mantra and the Prerna mantra on the occasion.

Need to follow the path laid down by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to finish terrorism ! – Mr. Anant Karmuse, Shri Shivpratishthan Hindustan

Shivaji Maharaj killed Afzalkhan on Margashirsha Shukla Paksha Saptami, 350 years ago. Afzalkhan is still alive in the name of Pakistan, Bangladesh and terrorism. We need to follow the path laid down by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to finish terrorism, expressed Mr. Anant Karmuse in the programme held in Kisannagar, Thane on the occasion of Shivpratap Din.
