Pune city stands in support of Kashmiri Hindus

Pune : We are with Kashmiri Hindus; Hindus must be rehabilitated in Kashmir; we are always together in activities undertaken in the interest of the nation, is the spontaneous response received during propagation of ‘Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha (sabha)’ proposed to be held on behalf of ‘Panun Kashmir’, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), ‘Kashmiri Hindu Sabha’, ‘Lashkar-e-Hind’ and ‘Hindu Ekata Andolan’ party. The ‘sabha’ is scheduled to be held on 23rd October at 5.30 p.m. on the grounds of Ramanbaug School and it is felt that whole Pune city is standing in support of Kashmiri Hindus; considering the affinity local residents are showing towards these brethren. Volunteers of HJS, elected representatives, members of youth committees are propagating for the ‘sabha’ at different places including eateries, banks, hostels, restaurants, colleges etc.

Propagation of the ‘sabha’ is being done in more than 40 surrounding villages besides Pune city. People are made aware of the ‘sabha’ through corner-meetings, personal contacts and social media. Good response is received everywhere from local residents. An appeal is made to citizens to call on 8983335517 for joining the activities and to give a missed call on 020-49131312 to confirm participation in the ‘sabha’.

Highlights

1. Shri. Ashok Munde, the city-President of BJP’s ‘OBC- Morcha’, BJP’s Shri. Yogesh Gogavale, Shri. Ramdas Hargude-Patil, District-President of BJP’s Cultural Division, Pune and its Shri. Swapnil Devakar extended support to the ‘sabha’ and confirmed their presence; along with all activists for the ‘sabha’. Mayor Prashant Jagtap was also extended invitation.

2. Propagation of ‘sabha’ has been done through Facebook also by reaching 1, 36, 57, 000 people and more than 55,000 people have been reached through posts on ‘WhatsApp’ and ‘Twitter’ etc.

3. HJS volunteers had gone to Balaji Mandir from Gaothan area when they were given ‘prasad’ by the priest of the temple for successful propagation of the ‘sabha’. The priest also gave flowers offered at God’s feet to them. He even blessed them with a special pot which he had; by touching the foreheads of the volunteers.

4. Shri. Anil Joshi of ‘Gouvidnyan Sanshodhan Samiti’ used ‘WhatsApp’ to propagate for the ‘sabha’ and confirmed presence of 130 people for the ‘sabha’.

5. Shri. Ganesh Satape showed interest in joining HJS activities when propagation for ‘sabha’ was being done in Sinhgad Road area and said that he would use all his spare time after his office time for ‘Dharma-seva’.

6. Rickshaw-drivers spontaneously joined the propagation by displaying posters regarding the ‘sabha’ over their vehicles. Few shopkeepers asked for posters for propagation through their shops.

7. Shri. Nilesh Raut, an owner of a laundary from Kasaba Peth heard about the subject and offered to hold a meeting for his ‘Nehru Tarun Mitra-Mandal’.
