Ban on Pramod Mutalik extended till 15th January for entering Goa !

State Govt. takes decisions favoring Christians to show its secularism; then why can’t it lift ban on Pramod Mutalik for Hindus ?

Panaji : Goa’s BJP Government has extended ban on Shri. Pramod Mutalik, the President of Sriram Sena and a staunch ‘Hindutvavadi’ so also on his colleague till 15th January 2017 for entering Goa. On the basis of two District Superintendents of Police (SP), the ban has been extended. This is the third year of ban on him.

The first ban was imposed on him and his associates on 19th August 2014 for a period of six months and it is being extended every six months. On 19th August 2016, two years of ban were completed and the present ban period ended on 15th September. Additional Secretary of the Home Department Rohan Kaskar issued a new order extending ban till 15th January 2017. The State Government has made use of clause 144 of Criminal Procedure Code 1975 for extending ban for 4 months. SPs of North and South Goa submitted a report recommending extension of ban on Shri. Mutalik; therefore, such decision was taken by the State Government. The Government has stated in its order that lifting of ban could cause communal disharmony in the State; creating fear amongst people. (Chief of Taliban is allowed to visit Goa; so also terrorist Yasin Bhatkal could even stay in Goa; however, Goa Government is prejudiced against an innocent and staunch ‘Hindutvavadi’ like Pramod Mutalik ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
