Strong opposition to the Black Magic bill

Mumbai: Kandivali, a suburb of Mumbai, a mega all-India conference was organized on ‘Astrology, Architecture and Tantra’. Many experts in their respective fields attended the conference. In this meeting, a lecture was given on the proposed Bill on eradication of blind faith.

All the participants including the Chief Organizer Pandit Dr. Subhash Sharma expressed their strong protest against the proposed Bill and decided to plan further course of action in a meeting to be held with Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. As per the proposed Act, many things which are part of Hindu religion like astrology, Vastu-shastra, Tantra-shastra, precious stones, horoscope etc. would be banned. Even such kind of conferences will be banned. Dr. Uday Dhuri, the Convener of HJS for Mumbai district explained clauses of the proposed Act and their effects.
