A lot of complaints received against St. Mary’s School in HJS’s meet

Panvel:Hindu Janajagruti Samiti held a meeting at Sukapur Gram Panchayat office, of parents of all students studying at St. Mary’s School. It was observed that most of the parents were distressed due to the malpractices going on in the school and put forth their complaints.

The complaints have been taken down in writing. The Speaker assured that strict action would be taken against the school if it did not stop its high-handed attitude and harassment of students.

The Speaker of Panvel Panchayat, Sarpanch and Shri. Ramesh Shinde, the Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) guided parents about future course of action. It was assured to the parents that the State Government’s Education Department would be appraised and induced to take action against the guilty.

There are many complaints against the school like girls are not allowed to put ‘bindi’ or ‘mehandi’, examinations are held during Ganapati festival, punish students very ruthlessly, charge fine in case of delay in payment of fees, additional fees charged for computer training but no training is imparted. HJS appealed that If anyone wants to lodge complaint against the school, contact Shri. Bapu Raokar, the Convener of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti for Raigad district on 9323304479.
