Dharmadrohee ANS undertakes a hilarious campaign

Thane, 28.12.2005: The ANS(Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti) has organised a crematorium visit to remove the fear of Ghosts from the minds of students! (Utter childishness of ANS! does the ANS want to prove Ghosts do not exist by taking students to a crematorium ? Who will explain to these dimwits that Ghosts cannot be proved by such physical exploration of a crematorium? It is surprising that these people claim to be scientific, whereas all their activities constitute utter scientific fanaticism which is far away from real science or scientific temper. Real science encourages a person to consider both sides of the coin for research! What research has the ANS done to evaluate the presence of Ghosts to authoritatively state they do not exist? Can the ANS give some examples of research they have done ? Even world famous scientists agree that what they are postulating are merely theories and they may not be true. No scientist claims to be a know-all , that he or she has known the truth about every aspect of this vast Universe. While the West is busy conducting advanced research into the possibility or truth behind paranormal phenomena and acknowledges that such phenomena do exist and they might be having some cause which might be explained by conventional science, ANS seems to have reached its conclusions without an ounce of research into the subject ! This same ANS wants the common man to prove the rituals undertaken in his/her Religious ceremonies like Marriage(Vivaaha), Satyanarayan etc using scientific principles or get imprisoned! Why, is this not what constitutes the clauses of the Eradication of blindfaith bill ? What a great scientific temper ANS has ! The question that needs to be answered is whether ANS is propagating scientific temper or a Scientific "Religion" ? What is the difference between the ANS and Scientific Talibanism ? )
Parents of several children have objected to taking their children to a crematorium in the evening.
