Proposal approved for giving funds for building ‘Haj House’ at Kondhva Khurd, Pune

PMC has kept pending the issue of construction of Warkari Bhavan for so long. Is it not discrimination by PMC ?

It has been proved that anti-national activities are taking place at Haj Houses; still places are offered for construction of new Haj Houses. Is it not encouraging terrorist activities in this country ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat

Pune  : Avinash Bagave of Congress had proposed to make available funds worth Rs. 1 crore for building of Haj House at Kondhva Khurd area in Pune. On 24th August, Congress and NCP have decided to classify funds received through toll and allocate Rs. 1 crore for Haj House. Such decision was taken in the standing committee with majority votes; keeping an eye on forthcoming municipal elections. (Hindus should vote out political parties which are appeasing minorities ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Decision to allocate funds for Haj House was opposed by Shiv Sena and BJP; still permission has been granted. Question was also raised about building of Warkari Bhavan at that time.

1. Voting was done after Shiv Sena and BJP opposed the proposal of giving funds for Haj House. The proposal was, however, approved since there is majority of Congress, NCP members in Standing Committee, informed President of Standing Committee Balasaheb Bodake.

2. BJP’s municipal councilor Mukta Tilak and Shrikant Jagtap said that they were against diverting funds earmarked for development. Shiv Sena group leader Ashok Haranaval said that Shiv Sena was not against building Haj House but Congress and NCP have granted permission keeping in mind forthcoming municipal elections and to appease certain class of society for votes.

3. A proposal of Warkari Bhavan was submitted even before Haj House. Land  under ‘Amenity Space’ was allotted at Kondhva Khurd for Haj House; but no place is made available for Warkari Bhavan when ‘palakhi’ of Saint Dnyaneshwar and Saint Tukaram Maharaj stays for two days in Pune. ‘Hindutvavadis’ have criticized that Congress and NCP have been evading allocation of place for Warkari Bhavan. (Those giving reason of no place available for Warkari Bhavan, have found place for Haj House. – Editor , Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)     

Place will be allocated for Warkari Bhavan within 2 months ! – Mayor Jagtap

Mayor Prashant Jagtap was asked about Warkari Bhavan by reporters after approving allocation of place for Haj House. He gave evasive promise of allocating place within 2 months for Warkari Bhavan.
