Patriotism devoid of sadhana is empty and leads to destruction : Prof. Rameshwar Mishra

Rameshwar_Mishra320Prof. Rameshwar Mishra, Dharmapal Shodh Peeth, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh said, “Dharma and sadhana are the roots of patriotism. They are necessary not just for patriotism, but also making our lives worth living. It makes the soul pure. ‘Rajneeti’ (The policy of Governance) is originally a Sanskrut word. Rajneeti is the policy which makes the mind happy and enthusiastic. Rajdharma is ideal for everyone. Today what we have is not ‘Rajneeti’, but ‘politics’. We should go towards ‘Rajneeti’. It is said that Bharatmata was divided at the time of partition. But that is incorrect. How can Bharatmata, which itself is Jagdamba, be divided? Instead of saying, ‘Bharat was divided’, it would be appropriate to say, ‘Some part of Bharat was given to Islam’. Anti-Nationals spread such false understanding. Such statements are made because of lack of sadhana.

He further said, “Bharatmata is not any politician. Bharatmata doesn’t need you, but you need Bharatmata for making your life worthy. Today, in the name of Bharatmata, politicians are served. The statement – ‘A Government run by the people for the people’ is made to define democracy. There is no mention of any such thing in our Dharma-shastra. To break this great land of Bharat, it is compared with Europe. To keep a control on all these things it is necessary to have knowledge of Dharma-shastra. Patriotism devoid of sadhana leads to destruction.”
