The Government has ignored our written request for a dialogue regarding the proposed "Eradication of blind faith bill"- Shri Shri Shri Bhat, Maharashtra Jyothish Parishad.

"We had submitted a request for a dialogue regarding the then proposed "Eradication of blind faith bill"(now known as "Eradication of blackmagic and evil customs bill 2005"), but unfortunately we were not invited for a discussion by the Government. The proposed bill, has been approved in haste and without taking people into confidence", said Jyotirvid Shri Shri Shri Bhat of Dombivali.

In the Vidhan Sabha, Shri R.R. Patil, Deputy Chief Minister and Social Justice Minister Shri Chandrakant Handore had repeatedly mentioned that the bill had been discussed thoroughly among all sections of the society. Jyotirvid Bhat’s above statement proves that Government has never discussed the proposed "eradication of blind faith bill" with the biggest social community representing Astrologers. This shows how the ministers can lie shamelessly in the house of people’s representatives for fulfilling their selfish anti-Hindu intentions.
